My family is going back to Disney this August for the first time in years. Growing up we always took advantage of EMH, but more than ever, I'm hearing people suggest avoiding EMH because of the way they increase crowds.

We'll be staying off-site, but we're deciding between the WDW-partnered hotels that are included in EMH, and the third party hotels that are not.

Anybody have some opinions on EMH? Does the extra time outweigh the increased crowds?

Morning EMH are the best, guests just don't want to wake up early. After that best to park hop. Evening hours tend to not crowd the park till after lunch and it builds up till the EMH. Evening EMH tend to be way busier but die out quicker.
