This one does have me a bit more intrigued. The details Murdy revealed had my eyebrows raise.

I’m not excited but I do think this will be a good house.

I think the outdoor segments are what intrigues me the most. How are they going to do some of the scenes they described in the IGN piece when they take place in complete daylight in a desert?

Don’t care too much for Fallout, it’s def not the “very scary” property I would be happy about, but it’s different enough that I will happily go through it and check it out, with hopes it’ll at least have cool set design.

Here's the plot synopsis for the house:

"Fans will encounter iconic scenes and characters that will put them into the frightening action of the popular series. The journey begins beneath the surface in Vault 33, where guests follow vault-dweller Lucy MacLean as she escapes a bloody massacre, only to discover an evil hidden secret. From there, visitors venture to the surface, where they must dodge attacks from Scavengers and Raiders, desperate survivors who will do anything to remain alive, as well as mutated cockroaches known as RAD Roaches. As guests travel through the hellish Wasteland, they will go through iconic locations like the Super Duper Mart and encounter The Ghoul, an ageless bounty hunter who has endured radiation exposure for centuries. Additionally, they will come face-to-face with a young squire named Maximus and gaze in awe at his T-60 armor. With frightful terrors at every turn of the eerily authentic haunted house, fans will question if they can ever escape the horrors of The Wasteland.”

Also some exclusive details from the IGN article:

- Hollywood's version will include a full animatronic animated figure of the Power Armor

- Murdy's favorite part of adapting this house was the Wasteland location
"It is fun to go from the vaults where you're in a claustrophobic environment to then kind of open it up into the Wasteland. However, when I think of it purely from what Horror Nights delivers, it’s Super Duper Mart.”

- Murdy also teased that each Fallout house will have its own “creature takes,” and Hollywood’s will be the horrifying Yao Guai Bear.

After last year, I'm just glad they're embracing newer properties. There's only so many times I wanna see the same stuff done to death.

A reminder this house is rumored to be in the UBE/TWDA house location. Usually we would have a rundown from Murdy already about the house but he's on vacation currently.

T-60 as an animatronic is super exciting. That would've been hell on a performer.

Here's hoping it's a decent length. The Wasteland sequence(s) could take up a ton of space, but maybe we'll weave in and out like the Alien vs Predator maze.

Maybe the art department can get really creative with depth perception backdrop/walls to help make it deceptively larger than it really is

Selling the outdoor scenes will definitely be easier in UBE. I wonder if this is the new home for our “vibe” houses (complicated effects, big show scenes, more of a walk-through attraction than a haunted house).

I have no experience with the game, but I liked the show and I think there’s definitely enough material for a house.

I had actually assumed we'd be getting similar costumes to the Transformers performers for the T-60s before that article came out. The Transformers are 12 ft tall and weight almost 100 lbs when T-60s are canonically less than 8ft tall and would hopefully weigh less in execution.

If people can make spot-on lore-accurate Space-Marine armor and walk around cons all day in them, we can get performers in T-60s. lol But i get it. In the confines of a house, swinging around that bulk with whatever props/elements, it would've been a lot for anyone to repeat 500+ times per hour. Glad they flat out announced an animatronic up-front for USH. Probably gonna get a mannequin for UOR

A two-handed prop for a stilt performer just isn't a good idea. Their hands need to be available in case they unexpectedly fall.

i meant props/elements in the room that they'd be swinging around in, but i 100% got you.

(plot-wise: Maximus loses the gun, so you don't really see anyone in armor with weapons outside of the Yao Guai fight and the finale but semantics)

Genuinely hope this isn’t another Quiet Place that is just an exhibition rather than actually scary.

My feeling is it'll be like The Last of Us -- showcases with softer scares. Which I thought was a decent experiment. I feld bad for the actors having to repeat moments that were just acting, but it was entertaining. And when timed right, quite effective.

However, the next year when they tried with AQP and Bloodlines, it was hot garbage lol
