So they bring the Media channels for this......

Probably went something like:

"Hey, you know that standing room in Fantasmic? We're gonna add benches!".

They've announced bigger projects on their Parks Blog. Seriously... I'm really disappointed at them.

So Universal can essentially revamp an entire park one building at a time at a jaw dropping pace to make it into a completely different theme park, but waits to say anything official to the public. And now Disney has the cojones to call press to announce that the only thing they are adding is additional bleachers to a show that isn't receiving its own upgrades? :doh:

"Hey Internets! Are you tired of having to stand if you show up late for Fantasmic? Now you don't have to!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

As frustrated as I am with TDO, the local news shouldn't pander to them either. I'm sure Disney holds access over their heads, but if it's freaking bleachers it's not a huge loss. All the crap they go through almost isn't worth the actual news they put out once every 5 years.

Just got home. Press didn't look like they were even considering packing up after Fantasmic finished, but I don't know how much more you can milk adding a bunch of benches. This seriously has to at least annoy some of the local media. They paid for videographers, photographers, and talent to go out and cover...the addition of benches.
