LeFou's brew being more expensive than Butterbber is hilarious.

...and no CM discounts either, I'm told. I've heard the brew tastes better than Butterbeer by some and not better by others so comparing flavors seems a wash. Personally I only like BB for the novelty of it. I'm not otherwise a butterscotch fan so I can imagine the appeal for some (like me) of a fruitier drink tasting better. I'll still end up buying more Dole Whips than either BB or LB at any rate.

from the pics the Mermaid area reminds me of Adventure Isle at DLP. BOG and Gaston's screams a ripoff of WWOHP areas, but are still well done.

I love Butterbeer and expect to enjoy Lefou's Brew. I just think it's bunk that it's more expensive.

You're welcome. It is an amazing AA figure. It moves very smooth. The flames are very impressive in person. I was extremely impressed when I saw it along with the mirror effect. Shame that they couldn't be used in a dark ride though.

It is kinda expensive. But if you get the cup it's larger than the butterbeer cup. Basically the same size as the souvenier. So the difference you pay is for the souvenier.

That pork shank is really good though.

I appreciate that Butterbeer (at inside locations anyway) allow for Team Member discounts. Then again, they also expect tips at these locations so maybe it evens out to the outdoor carts in the end. Still the notion that workers are special is nice. Your move, WDW...

No discount for CMs shouldn't be a surprise, as the only park CMs get food discounts at on anything other than table service is Animal Kingdom.

I've heard nothing but good things over all. People like the area aesthetically and most of the animatronics in the Little Mermaid have gotten positive feedback. I've not heard of anyone who doesn't like LeFou's Brew tastewise (pricewise I've heard groans). The vibe I've gotten is that MK provided exactly what they promised. No more, no less.

Yup. It's exactly as I expected from what I'm hearing online.

Orlando Attractions uploaded some videos.

^ Ursula's death is at 8:57 ^

I think it's pretty much what we asked for. Not another AA or show scene, but noticeable and a neat little effect. No complaints here.

Mermaid queue is drop dead gorgeous. Will probably end up being the best part of the expansion.

This. The domed portion of the indoor queue is actually breath-taking.

It's all very Forbidden Journey-esque.

If only the ride was anywhere near the same level.

I don't think anyone ever questioned that this addition was going to be beautiful, the question was the substance of the addition. I guess in the coming weeks, we'll see where everyone's thoughts lie.

It's fitting that FLE has circus elements, because it's exactly like an old fashioned sideshow.

You're drawn in by an incredible portrait of a unicorn man that blows your mind and is the coolest thing you've ever seen..... But then you get inside and find a guy with a paper towel tube strapped to his forehead.

The visuals are stunning, which we knew they'd be. You can't really be disappointed because Disney didn't make any false promises. You can only imagine what could been and second guess your decision to give the Barker your dollar.
