Drove past a fresh piece of track in my hellish commute home this afternoon, too:

Seeing the installed roll--it seems like a west coast version of a Mosasaurus Roll; but as opposed of being shaped exactly like it--it does the manuver upwards in the flow of direction.

Mused with a few peeps on TPS, and so-far @HydraGen2299 has the best name for it as the Rock in Roll.

sorry if this is a dumb question, but where are these pieces of track being shipped from? the one I saw on the freeway was heading west on the 10 heading into downtown, which isn't what I'd expect if it was coming from the port in Long Beach or from LAX.

So I decided to boot up some Planet Coaster 2 to see what I could do with a mockup (kind of what Amusement Insider did), and I think I got close enough to where I can make some playball guesses.

Assuming if I got the height worked out, the booster launch that is going to take place after the dive loop to get the trains up to the inverted top hat, is going to be insane. With the manuvering and the curvature that is present; is likely going to place this manuver to reach the ride's highest point at probably about the same height as the Hogwarts Courtyard (if that puts to perspective).

It's an insanely bonkers element that I think I realize more now with a crude mockup, is going to be the star element of the ride. Especially with the rotated controlled spin; it's going to register and give guests/fans a sensation that is going to be absurd (it is genuinely the "Ride or Die" moment of the attraction).

I wasn't banking on it but I'm just surprised it wasn't for the F&F coaster with a tag line like "Welcome to the family". I thought it would have been a similar deal to how Nintendo had announced overviews of their theme park stuff first before Universal signal boosts it. Then again they outright said what they'd be showing would be SNW.
