I thought I read, that portions of the disaster building was staying, unless plans have changed since that information came about. IF so that would be exciting.

San Fran facades are staying. Everything else is going.

I really don't know why everyone is expecting a huge demo of the external part. It's staying San Fran themed. Throw up some scrims and re-theme it a bit, put some F&F touches on the buildings - maybe some minor demo if needed.

Bringing this back to show it's ALL going behind the facade. That new building is going to be the largest building on property.. Larger than Kong's and Mummy's (individually).

I wasn't expecting a full demolition, was just curious. If the ride is to be based in San Fran, I'd be disappointed if there wasn't a scene driving down the steep hills at speed and flying off the edges slightly.

Could this possibly be on a similar level of an upgrade to Kong? It's absolutely HUGE!!!

Maybe i'm confused, but what does actual in-ride things have to do with it's facade?

Occasionally it's good if they match thematically

Yup, got that smartass, but that wasn't what he was talking about. He was actually talking about the ride, nothing to do with facade.

I thought scott meant everything about the facade and the ride film looking like san fran. That we are in San Fran based on the facade and the film shows us classic san fran icons. Perhaps I am mistaken.

If I was mistaken, then I apologize. I want the facade to look like that as well. I said it a page or two back actually.

I don't want the facade to change either. I think disaster along with the themed resteraunts are really well done.

What is the showbuilding comparison to Supercharged at Universal Hollywood?

Virtually none... the queue alone is over the top for people that love the franchise. All young boys and a few girls will love it and all the prop cars on display. The actual attraction isn't a straight line like Hollywood and this one will contain at least two additional scenes, one of them very large. It is unclear what might happen in either.

I really REALLY hope that the last one isn't a "bye friends, good work" musion from the cast. I find that soooo tiresome.

Do the rides at universal with fire have individual tanks for each ride or do they run off a central gas line? I would hope that that at least have a practical scene with fire in here.

I had to search google images to figure out how they get people on and off the UH trams... I finally found the two additional arms and figured it out and then found one open. I was wondering how secure the riders were and if they wore seat belts. They don't.

Wondering because of the vehicle lifts and whether or not they can be more severe on this attraction than in Hollywood. I wonder a lot of things daily.

Heh, a perfect opportunity for Universal to change course on F&F and locate it in NYC instead of SF. Then they could call the attraction, "Fast & Furious Races Through New York with Jimmy Fallon". That would be one heck of a large show building. :peace:
