Seems like the coaster is on track for at least an early 2027 opening. But with Supercharged closing earlier than expected, I guess this debunks the notion that they plan on letting that space sit vacant indefinitely.

Toon lagoon theater. Sinbad. Poseidon. FFL (sans HHN). Blue man group theater.

They leave stuff sitting vacant for years.

Not as bad as disney; but for a landlocked park they have their fair share.

I take it as they are in no rush to get construction of a replacement underway. But since you alluded to a Jaws revival in the Simpsons thread, a Jaws revival would make much more sense location wise in this spot (Supercharged) vs taking over Springfield.

Joe’s probably right and in the short term it’s a cost saving measure. And it’ll make it easier during HHN not switching queues. And it may be to start tear down inside to prep for new replacement later.

I haven’t heard anything about jaws (lately).

Yeah my thought is they announced it's closure in 2027 but permently closing it when they'd close it for HHN anyway is probably cost cutting. Wonder if/when they hand it back over to UC.

It’s a bit odd that we don’t have firm rumors for this spot. We’ve had a pretty good idea about Pokémon for a while…

I’d like to think people will miss this more when it’s gone, but I guess only I will. I’ve always felt the attraction got dumped on unfairly. There are worse rides in the same park that don’t get anything like the same hate.
