Surprised by how good a lot of the effects are, but still has some scares as well. A love letter to the franchise. Only drawback is that not all characters resemble the actors (tho a few are doppelgangers) but a minor quibble to what is a great house.

As someone who didn't like the 29 house, I went in here with the lowest expectations, and even with that...

...this is by far the biggest surprise house for me! Great sets, lots of really cool effects and show moments, and (unlike the original house), it's actually SCARY! Some of my best scares these past two nights have come from this house.

I'm pleasantly surprised to say I love this house!

This was at the bottom of my hype list prior to attending, but it's currently sitting at 7th for me.

The house is straight up BEAUTIFUL. Massive sets, and it actually felt like they used temperature control to make certain rooms colder.

"but it’s the surprise features of other ghouls and spirits from the franchise that really sends it over the top" ... very intriguing, will be my first house now

The smores treats are getting lot of social media attention, hope they add them to City Walk and hotels

I really enjoyed this one. It's only been two times and I'll definitely be going through this a few more times. The sets, effects, and scareactors are perfect. The giant puppet creatures got me a couple of times. I'm used to seeing one or two at most so seeing so I wasn't expecting the amount here. Stiltwalkers we really good too.

Pretty sure this will be in my top 3 this year if it doesn't become my personal #1.

That air blast near where the building freezes over was unexpectedly cool. Pun totally intended.

This house is one of the most all-around immersive this year from sets to scares.

This was my favorite of the IP houses. It had one of my genuine scares of all the houses.

In one of the first rooms that’s iced over (dining room), I thought they were all statues. So the scareactor that wasn’t a statue did a great job of being still and then got me when he moved.

This house was honestly the biggest surprise for me, from the sets to the scares to the moments where it actually was chilly, this house was just plain fun! And while I enjoyed the first house in 29, I found this house to be way better, and that's not something I was expecting at all!

Our trip is over, and this finished at 7th on my ranking.

I could not have cared less about this house leading up to the event, but it absolutely caught me by surprise! The effects and sets are great, and it was just a lot of fun.

This also far exceeded my expectations/internal hype. I left with it as my second (maybe third) favorite house behind only Insidious and (maybe) Goblin's Feast. Both the house in Orlando and Hollywood are so much fun, and the Orlando installation has the benefit of a few extra Giant Ice Monsters (I have, uh, not seen the movie).

Me too! I also currently have it at number two behind Insidious and there’s elements that I believe this house does better so it’s a fairly close number two. Just a really really good house.

That's a shame, the performer was extremely fun. Nothing better than getting waved to by Slimer.

I'm guessing the costume was just too much. Still sucks though.

Yeah. I sometimes couldn’t tell who some of the characters were supposed to be. Other than Winston who also was randomly cast.

I got a huge kick out of watching the videos from Hollywood where a 30-year old is saying “this isn’t how I wanted to spend my golden years”.

The new figure has moveable arms and is controlled by a puppeteer still, so it's still possible to get waved at! Honestly doing the house yesterday it looked nearly as good as the full costume did.

i will always rather have a static figure than an empty hole. at least you get to see the creature.
