I got to admit, I think this might be okay. Wrong location, shouldn't have replaced a ride, and by all means should have been an original attraction, but hey maybe the ride itself will be fun. However, I still kind of hope it ISN'T a success. Because it is... what if they do consider it for WDW's ToT... *shudder*.

Why though? We've known that there was two separate rides being developed for GOTG of late. DL was always going to get the TOT layover. Just because this happened doesn't mean it's any more or less likely for Epcot.

I agree. I was hesitant on it even after the announcement until I saw the Youtube video with Rohde. It actually looks like it should be a pretty fun ride. I know a lot of Disney fans will hate it and GOTG deserves more, but it still sounds fun.

There's a difference between going crazy without knowing half the facts, and understanding all the facts.

And this is not the first time Disney has replaced a classic with something fleeting...The fans will hate it, the GP will recognize and ride it...and I remain a Universal fan

I'm always surprised they ever let him be a public face of Disney. It's just gross looking and not the Disney image at all. And from everything I know about him he's a real horse's ass.
