You have Hollywood's arch confused with Orlando's. The entrance has been the same style for over 10 years now... atmospheric lighting for the area. Along with a banner of IPs/houses above the turnstiles & a giant "poster" on the main arch gates. The projections for Hollywood happen inside the park & it says "Halloween Horror Nights". The other projection is just a lighting pattern for "atmosphere".

There's been a consistent fixation on Freddy Krueger across both spec threads that adds nothing new or productive to the conversation. The user even lead one of their posts with "I know this is off topic."

I was just defending the OP. He's just a young kid, I don't see what getting on him about the subject helps anything. If anything you guys are derailing the conversation even more by focusing on it? Also I can't use emojis now? Why are y'all so serious it's just an internet forum

The forum has rules for a reason. We’ve been pretty lax on this thread but that doesn’t mean it’s open season to bounce between the two spec threads repeating the same things. At a certain point, we have to step in and think about other users.

You need to take a step back yourself because you’re making it an entirely bigger deal than it needed to be.

It didn’t need to be an issue if you just allowed @Allison to moderate. Everyone would’ve moved on and we wouldn’t be at this point.

Not sure if it goes for HHN on this coast as well, but still figured I'd share this just so y'all have the info as well: Legacy said in the Orlando thread that while Terrifier was on the IP list in January, it has since been moved past.

Interesting. I guess they had second thoughts regarding its controversial nature. Well RIP to Terrifier fans as this would've been the year to do it.

You think it's possible another reason they bumped Art out of the equation was because they got a more well-known clown to replace him? Or It?

Just to circle back, are you referring to the below post? If so, I believe "the list" he was referring to was the Discord's spec list. Not any real list he had heard of. Still seemed to be implying that it wasn't in the picture, but seems worth clarifying that he never implied it ever was in contention.

Terrifier was on their list in January, so they’ve already moved past that.

What do you mean by young kid? You most likely should not question someone age when in reality you don't know what they look like or any type of information about that person. First of all, If I was not at least 16+ I would not have access to any type of forums. I know this might not be the server for this, but I do have the right to address my concerns. The reason why I asked to remain on topic was that the thread seemed to be veering into the territory of talking about IP’s that we love, which isn’t the point of the thread and you have admitted to going off topic in other threads so my intention was to prevent that from happening. I love Freddy Kruger just as much as everyone, but this isn’t the thread to profess our love for that film (or The Lost Boys) or character or franchise. We have a horror film thread where that topic would fit in perfectly.

Regarding emoji’s, it’s no secret that people’s responses to me as a mod have been different than the responses to other mods and I feel confident in saying we all, as mods, would just like to be responded to equally and without any added tones that a kissy face emoji suggests.

I'm a trans woman so I didn't mean it in a sexist way or whatever. I literally respond to all mods the same way and I always use emojis. That specific emoji I meant it as a neutral face emoji, I didn't realize it was a kissy one because of the lips so I'm sorry that it came across that way.
