I am ready for them to announce the Showz! Curious if The Purge: Dangerous Waters will just be a repeat or if they'll change the plot around etc., and what the Dreamworks show is - hopefully, it really does wind up being a Universal Monsters something something, though that seems like the most mysterious thing so far.
Hoping if Purge is back—that they can figure out how to do the Seaplane for HHN hours.

Can you add a Z to an experience that doesn't exist?

Of what is left I am most excited to hear about the Tram theme. The rumors of Blumhouse theme has a lot of potential. I am less excited for a potential Weeknd house unless that has just been a fake rumor and we are actually getting Nightmare on elm street hahaha.

Midsummer Scream ended with John Murdy discussing some of the mazes we can look forward to at this year's Halloween Horror Nights 2024, such as Texas Chainsaw Massacre and Universal Monsters: Eternal Bloodlines.

Ya but the question was do we get there? Through JW or SNW? Looks like it's JW...
The question? I haven’t seen that question brought up here yet. Maybe I missed something. The OP that started that line of discussion asked about the queue. Does it really matter how we get there? The most likely scenario would be thru the Dino play area, since there’s a gate by there that lets you on the lot. But does anything change if its entrance is somewhere else? Not really. Having it in one place or another wouldn’t really make or break someone’s night. I think most folks were concerned if there’d be enough queue space for the house, really, and that was addressed in the house’s thread.

Ya it makes a difference. Nintendo is open in one scenario
Unless I remember different, Nintendo was open til 11pm or something like that for the after 2 pm tickets last year. So why would it make a difference where the house queue starts?

Management wouldn’t just open up Nintendo to regular ticket holders just because they put an entrance to a haunted attraction there. There are more factors at play that goes into their decision whether to have it open during the event or not.

Have they confirmed the Death Eaters are happening again this year?
No Death Eaters this year.

The Purge will be pretty much a repeat. Some minor plot changes and some new stunts, but mostly the same. I heard that Chucky will be in the Dreamworks Theater. Maybe a scripted show rather than the past improvised insults? People are easily offended these days.

I think the issue was the Dante entrance - there were several pyro pieces set up there.

Bummer then if the show being pretty much a repeat means that we won't get to see the Seaplane into place. Also while bummed on no Death Eaters; I am happy to see us getting 4 official scarezones in the proper sense.

I guess that means I can skip Purge, unless I am really ahead of schedule, since even with Express, that whole ordeal takes like a freakin' hour.

Did it take you an hour with express last year? The whole thing was about 30 mins for me on my visit with express last season, with the reserved seating. It probably varies night to night, tho. I also could’ve been lucky…

Checking my review from last year, I had just left Monsters: Unmasked at 12am and had to skip Chucky for the time being because at that point in the night, I still hadn't hit Monstrous or Evil Dead Rise and I believe 12:30 was the last showing (finally got back to Chucky at 1:34am). I think the thing with Waterworld as an arena is you can't really expect to just waltz up at showtime, there's a whole loading procedure to go through. On top of that, there's exiting, which also takes forever. So going from Unmasked (breaking up my mazathon and having to hit Chucky for later) and getting to the show and exiting, I didn't get to my next maze (Monstrous) until 12:53. So a solid 53 minute ordeal out of the way just to see Purge.
