Been conversing and talking to others--to get a heads and tails of what would be the positionals. Due to the element of renting, it could be safe to believe that this treatment, house 7, will be that for SS12; with house 8 being SS15--the last venue to lock in for the event.

Ordinarily you would think it might not matter as much for the sake of treatment locations. That you would have a bit of free-room. But in the case of SS12 & SS15; these are venues that you need to rent out the last due to the expenses of renting out a venue like a soundstage for as long as HHN constructs, tests, and operates their experiences.

The fact SS12 has the longest HHN house treatment in event history makes me think this is going to be a house that more expertly uses the space and scale of what the venue can achieve of.

tbh, I wonder if the "Headliner" IP will go over here instead of SS15. While you lose the TV's for the queue, and would need to redo queue configurations (*Use SNW as the Potter to H-Lot, damnit*); I think they might rather want the size of the venue to better suit that of a IP that will get top billing.

EDIT: To add in, I am going off of the assumption of SS12 being this treatment because Eternal Bloodlines I believe was treatment 7.

Just for fun, I’m going to post my speculated lineup before construction starts, based on the current rumors and spec maps. This is either going to be pretty close or age like milk!

-Slaughter Sinema [TWDA]: I recall on the spec map something about a popcorn bucket or something. I think this would fit the bill well considering the trend is having the second original borrow from an Orlando concept. I’m sure Murdy would dig it and TWDA naturally lends itself well to a theater lobby.

-Island of Dolls [Parisian]: As the rumor stated. Also a Hispanic house. So yeah.

-Horrors of Blumhouse (M3gan, BP, FNAF) [CG1]: There’s no way they’re not gonna capitalize off of M3gan and BP with the new movies coming out, plus they’re gonna try to weasel FNAF in there, I’m sure. You can kill two birds with one stone by having FNAF and the two other BH properties in there.

-Terrifier [CG2]: Eh, IDK I feel like this would be the best place for it considering all that’s coming.

-Fallout [Mummy]: It “makes sense” to shove Fallout in here since this is the video game venue in Murdy’s eyes. It’s based on a video game and has a show like TLOU. So yeah, it’s going here. Also interesting how @Viator brought uo earlier how they may be adjust the space to allow for taller sets.

-Scream [SS 12]: This is simply going off the theory @Viator is posting. I have no good theory as to why they would put this in here other than it’s a headlining IP so it deserves a sound stage. It will probably go here if it comes.

-WWE: Wyatt Sicks [SS 15]: This feels like the ideal venue for this. I feel like this would call for a big showy facade with a platform like The Weeknd had last year. I think it would work more for this venue. Though I personally think they should put it in the same stage they had the Undertaker just to bring it full circle.

Poltergeist [T-Pad]: Poltergeist makes sense. Get a 2-For-1 deal from MGM and have a paranormal house from the success of Insidious last year. Makes sense to put it here since this is basically the repeat venue.

Terror Tram: Ehhhhh….who knows. I’m gonna guess something with aliens? Maybe they can reskin those Quiet Place AAs for this?? Total shot in the dark here.

So that’s my speculated lineup so far. We’ll see how this pans out!

If they do somehow manage to secure the rights to FNAF, I think it is extremely unlikely they would relegate it to a part of a Blumhouse compilation.

I'd argue FNAF would be a larger draw for the event than TLoU or Fallout, and it has been highly requested for a while now. They would definitely push it as an event headliner.

The year we get FNAF is the year I go broke buying merch, and I have a feeling that’s the case for a lot of the 18-25 Gen Z crowd. That’s gotta count for something

Throwing it out but if FNAF was planned for last year (but things fell out), then one would assume it would've gone into SS15 (unless if Weeknd was always planned; which while scenically there is great elements--does have bits that are clearly repurposed).

I think FNAF would be standalone from the typical Horrors of Blumhouse brand. I'd also like to bring up there is a Blumhouse/Atomic Monster film that is releasing in September that if they were able to sneak out of SFCorps hands; would be interesting to see for HHN (but that's me more speculating than having anything *solid*).

This has been an interesting, weird year of speculation. We receive a spec map at the end of the year with literally no names attached then rumors in the new year involving the face of horror (Art) and two video game franchises returning or arriving the first time then a spec map with names attached sending the community into a frenzy and now a chance for Scream to actually make history at HHN. In between this has been silence so we really don’t know what’s actually coming lol

Plus, FFN is coming soon so I’m guessing the first announcement will come in last week of May or first week of June.

I want another spec map but I would appreciate names being attached from HNN.

Furthering that--while it could be considered a joke till otherwise; Mark has seemingly announced that as of going forward, he is retiring that of spec maps altogether.

Honestly--considering the toxicity and the turmoil that has been caused by that of the constant pleading, begging, and asking for one; I kind of think Mark will probably be done with Spec Maps. He's had quite a legacy with them, but perhaps some things should be put to rest before it gets ruined.

Agreed, when you got many others attempting it and/or just blabbing whatever on youtube for attention, that just muddies the waters something fierce.

Not to mention, spec maps do need bad plumbing in order to thrive. So when the plumbing gets patched up pretty good, not enough good info is coming out and therefore any spec map is gonna' get shaky as heck in places. And being one who's had their info wrong, I don't blame them for pulling out. You don't wanna' be putting stuff out you're not fully sure of, it's way better to step back and let the others sink.

That's a bummer, the spec maps were fun, I only paid attention to HN Nightmares one. Not them, ignore.

I'd be surprised if Latin American and Universal Monsters weren't in the line-up, but we'll see. Poltergeist with a bigger budget would be great. I unfortunately did Orlando before Hollywood the Poltergeist year, and Orlando was brilliant, Hollywood was still fun, but Orlando really showed the possibilities.

ngl I honestly thought this was relating to DreamWorks Theater's overlay experience; but skimming back at last year and looking at the FFN overlay from this year--that venue is designated as a show space and I shouldn't be thinking of that.

Makes sense--the focus right now has been on FFN construction and as that winds down it makes sense for their focus on seasonal construction to now shift to HHN. I wonder if T-Pad or H-Lot South begins construction first. They should be the most clear in being able to get to work more easily.
