Hmmmm, then went away from the roman numerals this year, I wonder if this has any significance rigtht now, but I like the way they announced on the Orlando site better than USH.

They haven't used Roman Numerals that frequently around this time. They used it for Twenty Years of Fear and HHN 15 most recently. It looks better in Arabic numbers as well. I do agree with the Orlando site looking better, though.

I watched the Silent Hill movie last night just to get a perspective on what the house may entail. I think the enviroment in the movie will translate well to a haunted house. Pyramid head and the bugs that were with him would scare me to death. I'm actually looking forward to this house.

Honestly I would say..blow the dust off of the old PS2 and PLay Silent Hill 2 and even 3...that will give you a full exposure to the Silent Hill universe..the movie was ok, but it tried too much to include a whole lot of characters that didn't need to be there..Pyramid Head for example dosen't show up in the 1st or 3rd games, but yet he will appear in both Silent Hill 1 and Revelation...why they didn't base a Silent Hill movie off of SH2 the game I will never know..this new one looks more true to the story of SH3 though..

Also..I had a thought..could this be our double run house seeing as how the games typically have multiple endings to them?

Maybe. Looking at the Wiki page, Silent Hill: Homecoming had 5 separate endings, Silent Hill: Origins had 3, Silent Hill 2 had 6, etc. :shrug:

With the new site update, it appears that the house may actually just be called Silent Hill while the USH version is Welcome to Silent Hill.

Probably because Silent Hill 2 sidelined the story in favor of exploration and to let your imagination do the rest. Not as easy to translate in a film.

Correct. It is just one of the Haunted Houses, not the theme of the event.

Possibly...or a general theme for this year's event.

Sounds like it..if they can nail down the exploring the town with the constant switch from the Dark dimension to foggy aspect of the games then they have a winner on there hands already...I remember one house at HOS one year where I truly felt lost the first run due to the fog, The Hunted was the house I think..it is a very terrifying feeling...Add to that the tornado siren that sounds when the darkness comes, and you have a 'pants filler' house..
This has major potential to be one of the best/worst houses they have ever done..I like the risk they are taking, hopefully it will pay off

I'm very interested to see where this goes. if they go all out with the theming and make it look like the park is in a post apocalyptic state...me gusta.
