Its possible at this point that BOTH SS33 and Parade could be used to have a house, but I think more than likely that its 7 house locations with one of them double run which is 8 unique experiences.

3 SS house locations, 4 houses, 1 double run
2 sprungs
1 ss 33
1 disaster

I'm sure MOST of the zones are going to be on the Northern side of the park since the houses will greatly skew towards the SS's.

Thinking about it, and I know how rampant that Penn & Teller house is, but would Universal miss out on a chance of playing up the 22/Dual run house with the magicians?

I'd say the dual run house is your Icons house. Yes, I said it. Icons.

Penn and Teller to me aren't really scary, I mean they do some pretty crazy magic tricks (look up the bullet trick) which many magicians to this day are still trying to figure out how they do it.

But when it comes to a HHN event, I don't see it...and BTW I would make an EXCELLENT Penn Jillette if they were casting for a role as him right Briman?

One entrance, and forks into 2 seperate paths, each path having its own unique experience.

It'd be interesting to see the Scarezone placement with the new parade and all the construction going on in the park.

Well, here's what I think we'll get SZ wise:

Central Park
Outside Disaster
Sting Alley
By Animal Actors
Entrance Plaza
Maybe between Simpsons and MIB? I dunno

And then probably roaming people in parade areas.

SS33 has been confirmed as being listed on the HHN Auditions sheet. So this is probably what we're looking at.

Rumor has it Penn and Teller ARE the icons. So that would make sense.

Penn and Teller have some pretty effed up minds. HHN's black humor is RIGHT up their alley. I'm not worried about them at all.:thumbs:

HHN has shied away from a existing franchise or person being the face of the event. Yes they put Wolfman, Chucky, and Saw front and center a couple of years ago, but Adrian was the "icon" of the event. Cryptmaster was the last one.

So I'm thinking its possible this year they have 2 icons, but polar opposites, a ying and yang..... :thumbs:

I could very well be wrong, but I am going to suggest that maybe the Soundstage 44 permit was repurposed as the Soundstage 33 permit.

Pretty sure ParkRumors ran this last week: "Revisions/Green 06/29/2012-See note on revised sheet T101:" BUILDING 44 HERC & XENA REMOVED FROM PROJECT"

But as recently as yesterday, it is still being updated by Fire.

So, I'm going to take the sentence from 6/29 as the permit surviving but no longer being for SS44. By that logic, it could now be for SS33.

Again, this is me thinking out loud. There are currently 7 permits for HHN houses. If one is dual run, that makes 8.

I generally ignore the HHN permits, but I couldn't resist today with all of the whining.

The HHN permits are filed as one large, multiple page document, hence the master PRJ permit. The reason there were changes on 7/9 is because the permits finally finished the Fire review process, and the changes applied to every BLD permit within the PRJ set. Even though the BLD 44 permit was removed from the project, the revisions still got added into the system, as they applied to everything, which is why you'll notice that on the other six permits, the comments for the FIR review are the exact same.

When a new permit is filed for the house in 33, we'll see it.

Penn and Teller are two of the most creative people in magic. Some of there early stuff is pretty dark, and they love playing with people's minds. They're not as much about blood and guts as you might want, but they know how to trick your mind. If they are the icons, I might just have to make a last minute trip to my first HHN.....Wish me luck on getting a good paying co-op job with an understanding boss
