Hey all I have a quick question about tickets. I don't know where else to put this, so forgive me if this is in the wrong place. My best friend lives in fort Lauderdale and she is going to buy our tickets but is not going with us, will this be a problem? Meaning I am not a FL resident but will be using a FL resident ticket she bought me. Will we be ided with the tickets? If she orders them it won't be in my name obviously. I could order them with her address but if asked for ID my address will not be FL. Will we experience any problems doing this? A guy on another forum told me this is very common and he does it all the time. I feel like this is not true. Could you please tell me your experiences.

I can't help but agree with you. As well as the scarezones and supposed shows. Prolonging that will keep the fans aching for more until the event starts.

Well, they can't wait all that long. The event starts in like a month and a half.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but we only have non-IP houses left to be announced.

If I recall correctly, last year's full reveal was August 31st, so we still have some time.

We have never been ID-ed when entering HHNs. The only problem I can see is if you have to pick up the tickets there at Uni, that problem only being with credit cards and then maybe ID's...
At the kiosks, when picking up tickets you bought online, they want a confirmation number and the credit card used to purchase the tickets. Then there is always the print-at-home tickets that will avoid all of that, personally I dislike print-at-home and want a actual ticket for all the events I go to...

I don't mind the print at home. I just don't want to spend 100 dollars and not be able to use them since I won't have an ID that matches her address. If we print at home we should be fine?

Well, possibly.

The parade building house is rumored to be a Universal Monsters house.

More than likely that's when the reveal will be this year because rehearsals start a couple days after.

Sorry, I can not give you a 100% for sure answer...
When I buy multiple tickets its my name on them so not every ticket will coinside with who is actually using the ticket. All I can say for a fact is I have never seen anybody asked for ID at the gates at HHNs or HOS, the lines are too long to try and match IDs to tickets. Keep in mind they want you in there spending money.

The only time I have ever seen IDs being questioned was during regular park hours. I've seen it more at Disney, though. I don't think there should be any issue here.

Being a site that covers Universal, I am inclined to inform you that talk of taking advantage of the system will not be further discussed.

I guess the chances of being at the park when (and if) Penn & Teller make a personal appearance are pretty small? And even then, what are the odds of them being in the haunted house when you actually go through? Would love to see them though. Caught one of their shows in Louisville many years ago and really enjoyed it.

They'll be there opening night for Press but probably not after that.

Still shocked we've known the themes/locations of 6 houses seemingly for weeks now, but nothing on what's going in parade building. The whole Transformers incident seems to have resulted in an epic lockdown.

The so called lock down was never really that big... it was just people trying to frame a perfect shot rather than being tricky. Look at all the SS44 photographs in the last day. The best sites including here were able to sniff their underwear without them saying a word. (that was a metaphor and not a literal).

As for the number of houses, people will still attend in great masses. They did 7 houses in 2005 and the product did not fail itself; people kept on coming. People keep on coming. They will do what they do this year, and people will attend in great numbers next year.

No, I'm just wondering what the 7th house will be...I think it's fairly definite it's a go now. Is it the classic Monsters/Dead Exposure house? Or something else entirely? Again, we've known the themes of every other house for a while now.

The only rumor we've ever had for it is Monsters. Doesn't mean that's what it is of course, but we really can't speculate outside of that.
