...the one under marketing that handles external advertisments, billboards, brochures, etc...Separate from in-resort graphics - Maps and signage are under park ops if I recall.

It's entirely possible the multiple lists were thrown together to the different groups for layout purposes, with the misdirection added as a extra way to weed out the leaks. Everything is temporary until actual production of the materials around July/August.

Aaaah! I never knew for a fact that UC puts out false lists to various internals and vendors. Thanks!

I will say I do find it odd - if the leak is indeed correct - that Insidious is involved. Everything else has a tie into the past in some form, except Insidious.

In other slightly more official news, Universal has filed a permit with the City of Orlando for the "Construction of Halloween Horror Nights 2015 houses". Unlike in the past, where they've filed an individual permit for each house, it looks like they've opted to include them all in one master permit this year. It's possible the City will require them to split it into individual permits as it goes through the review process, but as of now, speculation aside, it looks like we're still in the dark as to the actual number of houses. However, with this permit appearing almost a month before any HHN permits from previous years, it's looking very likely we'll see more houses than ever.

I'm basically always beat out when it comes to HHN permits, but have they not done this in the past? I could have sworn last year they had a permit like this before the rest of the usual ones came out, though I'm probably misremembering.

Ok, guess it worked.

I would like to comment on the idea that Universal is leaking out bogus info in order to catch people. In my opinion, they are just in cover up mode. From what I've read, we're supposed to believe that multiple lists have been released intentionally in order to catch the group(s) involved in the leak. If that were true, that would either mean only 1 department has leaked (since I've seen the same list confirmed from multiple locations) or they are lying in an attempt at damage control because the real list has been uncovered in April which is pretty damn early. One scenario calls for a covert sting operation, while the 2nd calls for an, "oops, we better say something in an attempt to rein these rumors in before everyone finds out the truth using social media". The latter seems more likely to me. With that being said, if they have the option going forward, they should at least change some portion of the lineup to give some credibility to their story. If I had to guess, I'd say that 1 or 2 of the scare zones rumored will be incorrect and possibly a house (if that). Just my 2 cents.

Is it bogus, or is it not bogus? That's the question......This actually makes it more interesting.....This could all be a scenario set up by Universal Creative for a new attraction, "HHN Follies, the True Story" with a fusion introduction by Dumbledore.

Other than Ghostface appearing in All Nite Die In: Take 2 (and in B&T), how does Scream tie to HHN Orlando?

I'd be willing to bet that at least 6 or 7 of the 9 houses rumored will end up happening. Who knows about the scare zones though? It's still only April, so it's plausible that the list was bound to change a little anyways.
I was interested in the Halloween Origins scare zone, so I'm sure that one probably won't be happening.
I'm not looking forward to An American Werewolf in London returning after only 2 years (regardless of how different it will be). I rewatched An American Werewolf in Paris 2 nights ago, and it reconfirmed what I already knew... It sucked. I hope they don't pull anything from that 1. My secret hope (which I know is crazy) is that they were playing a trick on us by dropping a bogus AWiL rumor when in fact they are really using Dr. Who (since there was that blue phone box in AWiL back at HHN 23).

I mean, if you look at Teebin's first post he only references TWD and the scarezones with all the other houses not even mentioned. And the comment "WD is kind of sort of maybe correct" might be referring to the question we have all had of whether they would be using TWD or the newer Fear The Walking Dead.

If I was a betting man I would bet that the lists are legit for the most part. Universal may be floating the bogus rumor to keep the discussion alive.Counter intelligence of sorts. No inside info, just a gut feeling. LOL
