I honestly think the universal designers could come up with way better and scarier designs for a haunted chuck E cheese than FNAF but having another Francise to add to your line up never hurts. I'd personally like to see them tackle rhe subject either way it's definitely a perfect setting to a house

You're talking like people will be jogging through it. Halloween queue had 6 switchbacks the length of MiB building. So a straight shot would be shorter. Would prolly have to put a switchback in there somewhere.

I agree, I think a switchback either in that first alleyway that you would approach off of Backlot Drive or where Drew labeled switchbacks would be fine. My whole idea behind that longer walk is that depending on what the property is that will reside on that house, you need to have ample enough traffic flow out so that the front-end line and throughout the house itself doesn't get too backed up. Plus, having it share an exit with B&T is not the best idea as it could hinder the traffic flow of the house every time a show let's out. Besides having the people leaving that show contributing to that traffic-outflow issue it could also cause a front-end inbound issue as well creating total gridlock for the house.

The only reason I say to share the B&T exit is I'm not entirely sure if there's another one close. Could always make one rather easily. Maybe have it dump out near where that timeshare booth is for example. This was just a pure spitball idea.

Could also go back the route of the entrance the entire way like how Dracula did last year.

That's kind of what I was referring to. Last year it gave Dracula a lot of room for when the crowds did pick-up and kept the traffic flowing relatively well in that area.

That would also work well. Either way, I think its a good bet to say that if there is a ninth house that goes in that location either of these would be great options to keep things moving in that area.

Has anyone seen anything related to permits yet? Don't they normally start to get things nailed down pretty much towards mid-April that we should be seeing permits popping up soon or am I just a little over-excited?

I saw this on Horror Night Nightmares:

http://t.co/X8o53KcRx1

The majority of the rewards are Walking Dead based, and one of the rewards is front of the line passes for Hollywood's event and meeting John Murdy. Could TWD now be unofficially confirmed to return?

Maybe they're burning off merch? (Please let that be the case.)

The only things you could really consider "merch" are Blu Rays signed by producers. Most of them have to do with meeting a celebrity, getting a voicemail or chat from them, etc. There are tickets to a comic convention where Walking Dead writers and artists will be in attendance, so HHN having TWD back would fit in with the theme.

Jimmy's first video is up. It's just a disclaimer stating he filmed the 6 videos in February and has the old dates in them; they're going to be out soon.

So far 3 out of 6 parts have gone up. He says he's been having issues uploading, but all parts should be up by the end of the day. This is what's been said so far (marked in white):

Marketing wants an all British theme, which is what he was hinting to in his Tumblr clues a few months ago.
Instead of Jack Schmidt there will be Union Jack, which takes the Chaos that Schmidt had.
At least 8 houses, but he was flashing his remaining two fingers, so we'll see if he adds in an extra two houses.
Houses:

The Woman in Black
Christopher Lee Dracula
Doctor Who
Clive Barker's Hellworld

^ Since it's the April Fool's video, it's also best to include what he said before all that, such as what the event was originally supposed to be. (Marked down in white as well)

The Original event was supposed have Jack as the icon.
- Jack would have his own house, a clown factory a la' Giggles & Gore, which is supposed to be a trilogy.
- The Caretaker, Director, Storyteller and Usher would be making cameo appearances. Fear was mentioned, but dismissed as making a appearence. Bloody Mary was also mentioned, but the character of Bloody Mary wouldn't happen due to one woman having a copyright on her and would be using her in another attraction. However there is the possibility of Mary Agana being used. Also, Lady Luck was NOT mentioned whatsoever.
- A return of the big three that is Freddy, Jason and Leatherface.
- Other IP's would be Insidious, American Horror Story and Ghostbusters.
- Finally a retrospective house (could also be the icons house) like Hallowed Past.

Also, on the topic of doing Christoper Lee's Dracula, it was said that house would be taking that Dracula and putting him in the 21st century/Modern Day.

So far there's nothing too realistic here other than the possible British them. Can't see most of this happening

(Highlight) Hollywood said they're getting a non-horror IP, so Doctor Who is definitely in the range of possibility.

I could see the non horror working for a show since it would work as a replacement to b&t.

Parts 4 and 5 have gone up with the remaining houses; part 6 will be the scarezones (you know the drill):

The remaining houses:

Theater of Blood or a house based on the works of Shakespeare
Hitchcock
Dual run house featuring a zombified Royal Family: one of the current and old. If Elizabeth dies during or before the event, the house would be renamed.
Icon house for Jack featuring British pop culture like James Bond and The Beatles
Ghostwatch upcharge house that's interactive and allows the actors to touch you
Hell's Kitchen parody upcharge where you have to make your own meal and be tortured by a Gordon Ramsey parody

I doubt the upcharge house(s) will go that extreme. There will be interactive elements for sure, but being touched would likely cause Universal controversy even with a waiver. I can see it being based on ghosts but not Ghostwatch in particular. For the regular houses, Hitchcock is easily the likeliest followed by Doctor Who. IMO anything but Dracula could happen.
