I really hope they are allowed to put a creative spin on Freddy vs Jason much like AVP. If they're given some creative freedom, this house could be insane!

in the case of FVJ i would hope they stick to some scenes of the movie. specially the cornfield scene and the ending. or the dream sequence where Jason is dreaming with freddy
i would love to see at least those 3 being used

I don't see what they could do with AWIL and am really hoping it isn't coming back. Don't get me wrong it was a great house, but it was only 2 years ago and they pretty much nailed the story to a T.

they can always do an original take on it, which could be really amazing since they could go wild with it. Like AVP but with wolves

Yeah the only way they could make AWIL any better than they did is by going literal scene for scene and making the house twice as long, seriously think it's something else. I'm really hoping that list isn't too close to the truth

I'd be a little more okay with it that way. Unfortunate that it'd be so close, but at the end of the day, AWIL is generally received as one of the better houses ever. So it's a mixed bag.

Been to HHN three of the last four years missing 23. I would be overjoyed with a return of AWIL in original, supersized, or whatever happens. You don't like it repeated, stay home.

The old school slasher, sleeper hit of the event? I'm hoping so. This is my favorite horror movie & if it does come I want to see it done right.

One of these concerns me BIG TIME if true.

1st off, I'm seriously hoping that this isn't even close to the actual finalized HHN 25 line up for Orlando this year. This IPs on this list are not very HHN 25th anniversary worthy with the exception of Freddy vs. Jason. This IP combination just doesn't really compel me as much as last year to make the trip all the way down for HHN, especially multiple times during the event run.

I agree with Drew for the fact that I really hope Scream doesn't come to HHN. Personally, I think they could find something better to use IP or original content that would be better than Scream. Again just my opinion.

I think the Tim Tracker had a video last year that had an interview with one of the people from Halloween along with Michael Aiello. I thought I remember there being an interesting tidbit in there about a new movie being released this fall? But who knows, I have that whole blond thing going on or I could be going crazy from busy season. :bonk:

I honestly believe this years original content (4 houses, 6 scare zones, roaming hordes,etc) will make up for the IPs some people are concerned about. The rumored original houses have potential to be amazing (especially code name "Party"). And 6 original scare zones are truly going to bring back that atmosphere we've been wanting for the last 4 years. I have faith in A&D, despite the rumored IP lineup.

The only thing I worry about is Scream ends up being based off of the MTV show and not the movie. If it's the movie? Cool. The show? Ugh.

Even then, the rest of the IP lineup, save TWD, is good, and the originals + original streets could be strong.

I'm with you on it being from the movie. If it's the show. I have little to no hope for it.

Also gave a new clue "Sonic" to an original that's been done before but it's returning.

Hellllllllllllllllllllllllllll yeah.

And hopefully for my sake it's themed solely to Scream 3.

Roman Bridger just causing havoc on the set.

But really though I think we'll be "on the set" of a new Stab movie and that'll be the basis for the house with nods to the previous 4 movies and upcoming TV show, unless it's legit just a walkthrough of all the best moments from the franchise.

Also I'm bias because Scream is my favorite "horror" franchise ever so I'll take whatever I can get.
