Who's said anything about clowns?

Someone did point out on HorrorNightNightmares that the main theme of the Vampire House is Vampire Clowns.

On the top left photo there is a bit blood on his face in the way of like Face paint like a Clown with red on his nose. Plus @Legacy 's hint of "Your have to invite them into your home" is like a Parent calling a Clown for a Kids Birthday Party which ironically is a Vampire in disguise as a Clown.

I more or less made it sound like it was Clowns as from the Looks of it and the hints given out. That doesn't cut out the idea entirely though. Like Vampires disguised.

I'm just so done with clowns. Every halloween event has clowns and they just aren't scary. To throw them in to a vampire house just doesn't make sense to me. Jack works as a character, his representation in the anniversary house was done very well. But clown vampires sounds like a movie parody or something.

I would be disappointed to find that whatever scares had been devised for a conjuring house got some sort of comedic treatment. I trust the creative team for the most part so I guess I'll just have to see.

I wonder at how many levels hhn can do things before it stops making sense. Like how comedy or sketch performers say a "hat on a hat" a joke inside a joke loses its funniness it's too many levels. Like the RUN inside hell gate prison was a stretch, Now it's vampires disguised as clowns in the 70's. Does that read to anyone but us?

It's a vampire house. The biggest problem with the spec of this house is that everyone is assuming vampires=comedy. HHN has done comedic vampires once. Last year. It's also using the aesthetics of a residence. An actual house. With vampires. That's really all you need to know.

This will be a serious house. I'm still not 100% how it'll work but I'm very confident it won't be funny.
