Turns out I was looking at S3 episode 2 instead of S2 episode 2 which the gifs were in... disregard the Hellraiser posts. I’m thinking Halloween or maybe Alien since the episode involves delivering weapons to aliens and the fact @happy bunny rabbit said he saw a lot of pipes going into Shrek

Was that house that bad? The concept seemed good, same thing with The Orfanage in that it had a good concept but seemed to be a dud

The scenic was bad, but I really dug The Spawning cast's unrelenting intensity. Honestly not dissimilar to HAVOC for those first few weeks. Went downhill fast when everyone quit, though...

I actually really dug OrFanage. Thought it had more atmosphere than most mazes.

It’s a shame Spawning wasn’t that good unlike the other Fangoria maze. Orfanage is one of those mazes I wish they would reboot since it just seems so creepy and could probably do better in a venue better than JAWS

Spawning was not great and probably the worst house of a good year (I am probably biased since it was my first year)

OrFanage was not scary, per se, but man was it uncomfortable and creepy. I had some friends who outright refused to go through it a second time

If it’s not an IP then I feel like it might be an alien based house (or Alien?), just going from only the info of that episode.

If it is an IP then it does match with a Clue 8 gif that would point to IT, and while I believe you did allude to whatever this is as being a late arrival, that IP has been so vehemently denied that I can’t really be all that confident in that hunch.

Edit: But if it is Halloween then I don’t get why they’d be so secretive about it? Unless it has major spoilers, but then why would they even put them in the house to begin with if they don’t want any leaks-it’ll be opening over a month before the movie comes out, right?

I'd be curious to see spawning reimagined since I missed that. It being confirmed would make me all sorts of damp.

I don’t want to speak for @Fallow, but HHN has super high turnover and it’s not out of he ordinary for casts in houses to change significantly throughout the event

Didn't everyone get the flu last year in one of the houses? They essentially had some missing spaces for a while

They pretty much already did a house based on the Parisian catacombs in the Catacombs house a few years ago not long before the movie came out.
