It seems to me that they generally sell the Passholder shirt without the Passholder logo also.

Yeah, I'll just buy the non-AP one because it has a less ugly (and pretentious) sleeve logo.

I did not know that was an option.

I'm fairly sure that the Horror Alumni shirt I bought at 25 was also the Passholder shirt, anyway.

I’ll tell you who gets the best HHN shirts every year: UO’s Entertainment Department. Their shirts have a small logo and the year on the left breast pocket area, and a better rendition of the main event logo on the back. All the versions I’ve seen the entertainment staff wear look incredible and are far superior to the standard merch shirts.

I don't get why people are freaking out about the shirt already. This is just one design that's only for AP holders. It doesn't have any of the houses or anything on the back for that matter. The non-AP shirt will be a different design, like it is every year. For all we know, we could be getting a really awesome 80's themed house shirt. Just feels a little early to be complaining when are we have seen is one shirt, one pin and one lanyard.

One thing I'd love to see is some HHN merchandise that could be used for Halloween decorations. Most of the stuff they have doesn't suffice unless you get really creative.

I was thinking something along the lines of this type of aesthetic:

Admittedly, however, not very horror based. But definitely evokes the era. Lots of pinks, purples, lasers, etc

actually yeah thats great.
I never thought of the kind of Art that Synthwave bands have on their music, but yeah some of that artwork could have worked for this year. I dont know why I didnt think of it

it could have been easy for them to create some retro horror shirts looking like this

The nod to 1992 makes me happy

They are going for the gritty, Stranger Things/Slasher aesthetic rather than the synthwave/Blade Runner one...I love the look

This image legit made me laugh out loud. Now I wish we had a Friday the 13th House just so the shirt could become a reality!

I think Disney would sue given that that first image is clearly the TRON: Legacy font

So in a way Slaughter Sinema and Twisted Tradition are the “mascot” zone and house?

I’m not really getting that impression. I don’t think we have a mascot/icon/coherent theme this year.

True, I just think it’s weird all the merch released so far has been themed to Twisted Tradition. Not complaining though since that Pumpkin is really cool

They should just redo The Breakfast Club poster with their IP’s.

Clearly it’d be Zelda Rubinstein as Molly Ringwald, then Winona as Ally Sheedy, Sam as Anthony Michael Hall, Babyface as Emilio Estevez and Michael Myers as Judd Nelson.

eiAefx0.jpeg

I’d pay $27 & change for that tbh.
