Yeah. That’s not really a hint. It’s the clue set. I had forgotten I named it already.

I thought Lost Boys was out of the lineup? IIRC the only 3 that seem to be partially confirmed are TrT(announced), Stranger Things(announced), and Poltergeist.

On HNN Ringwraith spoke of only 2 IP’s he had confirmed of not showing up and TLB (and The Thing) were not the two.

However, I also read elsewhere (if the original source is here please stand up!) that they’re looking for motorcycle riders (drivers ?) again so my wishful thinking reared it’s ugly head...

There are A LOT of things motorcycle riders could be used for. Especially since most of the zones will probably be original themes that are unknown at this point.

Well my knowledge of previous HHN’s isn’t that vast so what have they auditioned motorcycle drivers for in the past that doesn’t involve driving a motorcycle/bike??

Has it been stated anywhere that no IP’s will be used in the SZ’s this year? Has it been stated that “most of the zones will probably be original themes that are unknown at this point“? Let me know if so cause I missed it.

Maybe I misspoke. motorcycle drivers are auditioned to drive motorcycles, but that doesn't necessarily mean that they will be traditional "biker gang" members. They used some last year in Purge as escorts for the victim truck, two years ago they road around in Survive or Die, etc, etc.

No actual confirmation statements that I know of. Since this is still speculation season, it's very rare for more than one or two zones to be actual IPs.

I'm just saying to believe that there's a better chance bikers may be used in an unknown theme, rather than trying to jam them into an IP that may or may not be coming.

Could it be possible that Eddie is the icon. Based on his original story huge fan of horror movies and wanting to bring them to life as in the slasher and murder aspects. I’m just thinking it fits the code names and everything I’ve been reading recently here and HNN. @Legacy likely at all?

Could the motorcycles possibly be a Demon Cantina zone? That would be AWESOME. Also, wishing I was still living in Orlando, I would kill to be a scareactor on a bike.

I agree, there are many different settings & scenarios they can insert bikers into. But as for “trying to jam them into an IP that may or may not be coming” I’ve made many crazy reaches for TLB but seeing as how every main antagonist in that movie (but one) drives a motorcycle I actually don’t think this single hopeful connection is the worst of my stretches lol. They even had bikers in Vamp ‘55, so vampires with motorcycles isn’t a far off concept for HHN. Anyway, until the full lineup is officially out I think it’s ok to remain a little hopeful!

———————————————————

Didn’t wanna spam the page so I’m putting this here-does anyone know how far in advance they usually audition bikers??

I ask because IF there is still a glimmer of hope for TLB and IF they were to be in a SZ and IF they put them on their bikes that means we could possibly have 4 (or 5, depending on Michael) motorcycles on stage at a time. Only thinking back to last year with The Purge, I only ever remember seeing 2 out at a time (but if I’m misremembering let me know). I also ask because I don’t remember ever hearing about motorcycle auditions this far in advance, IIRC it was usually much closer to the event. Now I’m sure they didn’t only hire 2 for The Purge, however I can’t imagine that they hired a ton. I have no idea how shifts work at HHN (shout out to any former SA’s in the house that feel like chiming in) but IF this connection isn’t completely nuts they’d most likely need to hire A LOT of guys with motorcycle experience. And IF it is uncommon for them to start looking for bikers in May-it could mean (even if it’s not for TLB) that they’re gonna need to find a lot of them.

Just want to ask why is everybody so hyped about LostBoys? I didn't watch the movie and don't know anything about it and it is not that well known so I don't get the point why they would use that IP. Can anyone explain it to me?

Only speaking for myself but it’s one of my all time favorite movies so, naturally, I’d love to see it come to HHN someday.

As for being well known it actually is considered one of the top grossing horror films of the 80’s, and it even (domestically at least) made more money then some of the movies that have already been featured at HHN.

What I could compare it to experience wise at HHN is Vamp ‘55. I don’t know if you attended that year but IF TLB were to be used at HHN I’d imagine it’d be very similar to that concept accept it’d be all greasers (with some really crazy wigs) and the setting would be along the California coastline in the 80’s instead of a high school in the 50’s.

I don’t know what kind of horror movies you like but if you’re at all into cheesy, 80’s campiness & if you’re a Netflix subscriber, you should give it a try.

Solid, watchable movie that got replayed all the time on HBO and had a video in heavy rotation on MTV, which is pretty much a lock for Generation X nostalgia. Also launched Keifer Sutherland's career, IMO along with the Oliver Stone movie brought The Doors back from the brink of obscurity. Caught it a couple years ago, still holds up, particularly the M. Night-level third act twist.
