Closest thing I can think of is Terrifier. However that IP has made a lot of money at the box office with 2 & 3. But it has a similar cult following that those two IPs have.

Speculated? You can speculate anything you want (within reason).

Rumored? Eh…

I would like to add the caveat that it is still early.

But I genuinely believe they want Las Vegas and Epic to carry the Monster torch for 2025 and avoid any possible confusion for guests.

For me it really does make a lot of sense, in the case of Las Vegas, something that can help draw folks is if they're not going to find those houses anywhere else. If any of those properties were in the stateside HHN's during M.U's opening year (especially Hollywood), it doesn't give as much of an incentive for the Las Vegas ones.

As I said, I don’t think they’ll double up zombies, but if it weren’t for that Return of the Living Dead might be an interesting possibility

It’s an 80s semi-cult classic with a humorous tinge and a recognizable signature monster that can be slapped on merch without securing the rights to an actor’s likeness. The film would seem to be right in creative’s wheelhouse and it’s having an anniversary (which doesn’t REALLY matter) and releasing a new film (which might)… I sure wouldn’t bet on it if TLoU is headlining, but it’s a bit surprising it hasn’t shown up at the event before now.

PS: I believe the rights are a mess, but otherwise I’d think a full Army of Darkness house would make sense and move merch.

I heard so many people in line hoping for Terrifier coming this year. Damien Leone has also expressed interest to my recollection. I know around Terrifier 2 he reached out to certain people, like the Dead by Daylight developers about getting Art out in the wild. Now the tables have turned and with Terrifier being as big as it is.

LOVE Return of the Living Dead and it's in a spot where it's sort of a mainstream cult classic like Reanimator where if you have any interest in the genre you've probably seen it but it's not a household name. Would be an amazing addition imo but I doubt it's in an area where it's something to be really pursued as it wouldn't be a draw and zombies with punk/surf rock could be an original without IP hassle

My largest hesitation with Evil Dead/Army of Darkness is Bruce Campbell is what primarily makes it work. The Ash Vs Evil Dead house didn't deliver because at the end of the day, Ash lookalikes just aren't Ash

I’m surprised there’s not much speculation about Beetlejuice. It seems like a property that HHN would do and it was popular this year.

I think a lot of posters, myself included, assume TLOU and Beetlejuice 2 are the most likely IPs for next year so there’s less to talk about there. Of course, they certainly aren’t locks…

Do you think there’s room for it or have you heard 5 other IPs?

I’ve heard five others. And it’s been remarkably consistent for this early.

Are any of them classic movie IPs? Something like The Thing, Gremlins, Friday The 13th, Evil Dead like those eras of horror

Not too surprising.

There are still some bruised relationships over the 2020 debacle.

Is Blumhouse in the cards? Were they really upset over the Wolf Man character debacle?

I cannot imagine HHN dropping Blumhouse, but it's safe to say we will most likely not see Wolfman next year.
