Basic descriptions of the original houses as I understand them:

Graveyard House - Deadly Unrest in a soundstage
Viking Original - Basically the Massacre at Hardhome from Game of Thrones
Hatchet and Chains - Ghost Town meets Demons (with a smattering of Havoc: Derailed)
Toys: Angry playthings in a toy store
Nightmare Manor - Spanish person takes an ambien and has a bad trip
These all sound amazing. My personal one hesitation with the Viking one is that if it is just Vikings versus zombies, that would be a BIT less exciting than Vikings versus Norse monsters (like trolls, etc.).

Based on what you've heard about all the originals, which one excited you the most?

I don’t do “excited.” I do “intrigued.” While none of the originals are really speaking to me yet (as none of them have stories or effects that are really grabbing my attention as unique or especially creative), Deadly Unrest and “Mansión de Pesadilla” are the two that seem like the ones I’d vibe most with. They seem more traditional and atmospheric.

But that is still on very little information on what is IN the houses.

(And I’m confidently moving away from referencing “The Artist” because the house doesn’t seem focused on art or an artist at all at this point.)

Hardhome had other creatures besides the undead.

“Conjuring in a western home” was my theory based on the few known scenes at that point. More scenes and decor have confirmed that the house is indeed Hatchet and Chains (or, at the very least directly connected to the Hatchet and Chains universe and stories).

My THEORY on the story in the house:

No, really, there are likely house spoilers in this.
I’m not kidding.
This is THEORY, but will speak about a major scene in the house.
Ok…
A train of demon prisoners crashes, releasing its cargo onto an unsuspecting town. Whoever the bounty hunter is (Hatchet or Chains, I don’t know or care) is dispatched to round them up.

Are any of the houses designed by the fellow who did Goblins Feast and Dead Mans Wharf (believe it’s the same guy)?

Tents once again looking a lot more interesting than soundstages. WWE in a soundstage…

Believe he did Blood Moon as well! I thought he did Triplets last year?

Honestly that just sounds like the description for the house! But looking forward to a nice train crash scene, lol

I really hope so!! According to the wiki he did Wicked Growth, Dead Mans, Bloodmoon and Goblins Feast, and those were my favorite houses in each of the last 4 years.

If he's doing scenic for another one this year I might as well put it #1 on the hype list lol

I'm betting he's the one working on the Graveyard house.

I was thinking probably that or Vikings would fit the bill most, especially if Vikings has some fantasy vibes to it

The lack of any news/announcements this far into the year is terrible... we're almost 3 months out from the event and absolutely nada. I hate it

Fallout first, then Terrifier, then WWE, then FNAF, then Friday the 13th. That's my guess for the schedule.

We’ve been saying June for a while. Any expectation for a HHN announcement before Epic’s opening was incredibly optimistic.

Back in my day, we didn't have anything revealed until a month before the event started. Tickets went on sale with the marketing icon teaser around july-ish (if lucky). Full reveal end of August. Event started end of September.

Everyone who started going within the past 10 years:

I completely disagree lol.

I think: Terrifier > Friday The 13th > WWE > Fallout > FNAF last. It's the biggest IP this year so I have a feeling they're saving it for last.
