It was a John Murdy policy.. He fought to keep HHN Hollywood a dry event, mostly because of the safety issues that alcohol brings.. good thing about it was a much safer event.. unfortunately, that meant much less profits and a much smaller budget for our HHN

And while I would want it to stay far away from the event, it makes money. It makes, a lot of money.

I still don't understand the reasoning behind keeping Potter closed. They opened it for the last few nights last year and it seemed to go well. If Orlando can open their's, why can't we?

I have to assume Forbidden Journey may be a particular reason to why they are very hesitant. I would imagine resetting that would be a large problem, and that while it may be popular in the day; it may of not been something big for Halloween Horror Nights in crowds and profits last year.

Double posting, to get an question answered by perhaps @Brian G., with there being employees from USH posting here on the forums often, along with tonight being employee preview night; would it make sense to set up a review & photos thread now, or on Friday?

Okay... enough of this "alcohol is evil" :poop: I hear it every year in regards to HHN and other events. Don't blame the alcohol on the stupidity of the morons who can't behave themselves. Even without alcohol, you will still get the dumbasses & their :poop: behavior whether they are drunk or sober. There are "safety issues" even without alcohol present.

Also... Hollywood has offered alcohol in the past. Its called the VIP tours... Beer or wine. Limit 2. Guess what, its back again this year for the RIP tour. So yes, there will be alcohol at the event this year.

I'll believe it when I see it, but I'm expecting it to NOT be available outside of the RIP tours. If it is, it will sadly just be beer or something. Not actually liquor (which is a shame because I'd LOVE to have a blinky cup drink).

AFAIK, Alcohol will be available to everyone. It won't be exclusive to those of RIP Tours (although it's possible that they could pull of the public allowing it and that RIP Tours have it exclusively).

I wouldn't be surprised if it's pulled, but that it is happening.
