I'm getting fed up with the continual issues with this ride. The past three visits its been down at different times due to 'technical difficulties'...which obviously happens way too often. It's a maintenance nightmare.

I think it's just about time to tear this thing down and start from scratch with a RELIABLE coaster company like B&M.

I love this ride but I agree they might actually have to start over. I mean it could be a blessing in disguise to make maybe a Fast and the Furious themed coaster? That would be awesome.

The reason for longer waits is. They have increased the time between cars (probably) Due to the new cars weight(more)
When a car is sitting on any of the brake runs They should be able to stop a second car on it .Due to the new car(s) weighing more that is not the case (especially when brakes/rotors are wet) The fix is to install longer/stronger brakes and pads .They are Probably ordered and will be installed when manufactured. So we will probably see another down time to install them.Hopefully they will install all the new cars at the same time .That would also be a great time for new songs.

Yeah in what world is it okay to run trains that are all different weights? There is always some variation especially when they are loaded with guests but it sounds like this whole train upgrade thing has been a significant factor.

I don't think they anticipated/realized how much heavier the rebuilt trains would be - at least on the ops side of things - and the subsequent problems it would create in the brake zones. The transfer block cannot be used as a standard block zone anymore after the latest issue.

How many trains were they running when fully up and running? I can only imagine running 4 will increase the the wait times a bit

With off season fast approaching, the wait time, with four trains only, shouldn't be any worse than summer season lines

This happens at many attractions based on other factors. IE: a modified ADA vehicle will weigh different than the normal ones.

True, but those tend to be rides where gravity isn't a factor.

Mummy's is a door, which doesn't add any substantial weight to the RV. And Ripsaw's adds a little bit of weight, but again not really significant.

You want an ADA RV that adds weight the Cat in the Hat and Men in Black RVs are both significantly heavier (MIB when carriage is on it) then the standard RV.

I walked on to the ride pretty much today. It had a 15 minute wait and single rider line was closed.

Was at the park today from about 1:30 to 5ish, and Rockit was down the whole time it seemed. Later on it seemed to be running empty cars, but when I came in it was completely shut down.

Poor Rockit. Last I went on it (which was 2 weeks ago), I had a short wait (all of 10 minutes, WHOO!!) and the ride was not bumpy at all. Hopefully all the kinks are ironed out eventually.

Rode last night. Trains 4 & 5 were on the track, but 4 was running empty behind train 3. I guess that's one way to get around the weight problem, but still use at least one of the rebuilt trains.

There's been several operational changes, and some not so insignificant downtime lately with more very likely to come. Thankfully it is the slow season, so it won't effect wait times too badly, but if they have to continue them into the Christmas season...if it weren't for HHN, I'd expect the ride to go down to try and push all of the trains through the rebuild process at once, but that can't really happen.

Honestly at this point, I'd say screw it. Take it down for 6 months, rebuild all the trains, make any modifications necessary to the control system and brake runs, and open it.

Then wait for the next thing to go wrong...

I remember there was talk earlier this year of all the trains being changed as well as the addition of new songs.

I guess now all Uni will be concerned with is keeping this. It would suck to lose out on new songs.
