Homecoming

Based off the podcast of the same same created by Eli Horowitz and Micah Bloomberg, Homecoming just came out on Amazon Prime Video. Directed by Sam Esmail most famously known for his work on Mr Robot, this thriller keeps you on edge. Julie Roberts plays Heidi Bergman "a caseworker at Homecoming, a Geist Group facility helping soldiers transition to civilian life. Years later she has started a new life, living with her mother and working as a waitress, when a Department of Defense auditor questions why she left the Homecoming facility. Heidi quickly realizes that there’s a whole other story behind the story she’s been telling herself."

With electric performances by Bobby Cannavale, Shea Whigham, and Sissy Spacek, it will keep you on edge.

The show is almost Hitchcockian in nature and uses old horror/thriller movies scores as background music which evens adds to the feel with unique visual angles and style almost reminscent of Netflix's Maniac but in a less colorful way.

I highly recommend.
