Jurassic World VelociCoaster Construction Thread (Opening June 10)

I saw this on Sunday afternoon and my goodness it was impressive! I was not able to get in line but I got caught in the mass of crowd outside the exit. I loved the interaction between the trainer and the raptor. So far Ive seen and heard nothing but great reviews about this attraction! Every time a show time approached the line extended down towards the JRPA entrance and games. People are very much aware of these things!

There was some question about how 'trained' the Raptors are in Jurassic World.. Well Universal released a clip that should answer the question:

Anyways, JW is currently tracking to open at 110million, and apparently the number is still rising. I expect the movie to be a hit- it'll be interesting to see what this means for the future of the park at IOA.

Ok everyone so I just saw a sneak preview of Jurassic world and I don't even know where to begin. Like good lord there's not a possibility of an attraction here, there are possibilities for like twelve!!!! My suggestion? bull dose everything because this isn't gonna be just big, it's gonna be gigantic. Universal needs to get on this as soon as humanly possible. For all the JW doubters, see the movie and see for yourself, it's incredible

There certainly is a lot. Remember the theme park style faux brochure that was released awhile ago? The minds of the film really got that aspect right. The film is going to surpass Age of Ultron at the Box Office and guest spending and appeal is going to be large.

Not spoiling anything because it's pretty much known already but they talk about the original Jurassic park in world like it's a horrible disaster that's in bad taste to bring up, already making the island dated. For those who'll argue the original movie is a classic and better than world automatically because of it, when it comes to theme parks it's all a matter of setting and world destroys the original JP in almost everyway in that department. This is has to be universals biggest priority now, too good not to

The original is a classic. This sequel looks good though. I am truly curious to see if Universal will make changes to the island in the future if this movie is a runaway success...

I can't remember if this has been said before or not, but what if they made a gyroshpere ride with the Space Fantasy RV? Just have a plastic sphere over it? Then you can have indoor and outdoor portions?

I didn't reveal anything don't worry, this is explained in the first 10 minutes and it's already kinda obvious to begin with since it takes place after JP. Just kind of a basis on how the island will become automatically dated because of JW that's all

Honestly as drastic as this is, that's how good Jurassic World was, on par with JP, if not better.

Can see the entire area becoming JW.

Listen, I'm glad that's your opinion...

But no. JW was in no way, shape, or form anywhere near as good as Jurassic Park. JW is a very good popcorn movie. JP is one of the best blockbusters ever made.

As for expansions to the existing land...I could see some sort of coaster coming, but I still don't see how you build a dark ride that can be satisfyingly different from River Adventure.

The whole scene where the hybrid dino is playing around with the gyrosphere would make for a great ride, but I know it would probably have to be entirely screen
