Screamscape reports two coasters, flat rides, possibly gyrosphere and something like Raptor encounter but expanded. Lol, don't think they have the land for all of that there.

Their next rumor: To accommodate all those rides, Universal is going to drain the lagoon and fill it in with soil from the Sapphire Falls & Volcano Bay excavations. ;)

Isn't Jurassic Park already being rebranded into Jurassic World? That's what the banners outside Thunder Falls would lead to suggest.

I believe from photos that those are gone. Similar ones from Hollywood have also gone away.

I hope they update the Raptor photo op in the future - the suits for Jurassic World The Exhibition look wayyy better!

Not sure why the head is so spiky, but it still looks more Jurassic.

I thought the raptor encounter people wore pretty much the same outfits...

I'm assuming that Creature Technology is providing that puppet. It appears more fluid than the Michael Curry puppets.

Now why can't puppets like that be used to make the movies? Obviously with a few enhancements from a computer to remove the guys legs and stuff.

Not really.

I will give credit where it is due though, the Universal suits hide the actors legs. None the less, the JW Exhibition suits look more like 'real' Jurassic Park raptors - and just look more realistic overall. The Universal park raptors look so goofy.

Yep.

Though I will say, the motion of the Universal Park suits/puppets is pretty good. It's the look of them that's the problem.

Colin Trevorrow pushed hard for more animatronics, but lost that battle more or less.

After the success of JW, if whoever ends up directing feels strongly about animatronics there may be a chance.

While the Creature Technology Raptor suit looks more realistic than the Park's Raptor suit it still doesn't fit the JP/JW models which is kind of a let down since it is for the Jurassic World Exhibition. However the Raptor is closer than the T-Rex they showed for the Exhibition announcement.

Sadly, Creature Technology Company fought Universal on all fronts wanting 'realistic' dinosaurs vs screen accurate dinosaurs vs budget.

The compromise was taking the Walking with Dinosaurs Arena Show dinos and giving them a Jurassic themed reskin.

In the case of the raptors, they removed the plumage and repainted them:

This isn't a bad idea......they don't use the lagoon anyway. If Disneyland can destroy 1/3 of the historical Rivers of America........then Universal can certainly swipe some lagoon real estate for something really cool. :)

As far as I know, the Walking With Dinosaurs Arena Show is done.

However, once Jurassic World The Exhibition begins touring this Fall I am sure Florida will be a stop.

Oh well, I still have the ultimate souvenir from the one time I saw it. A presidential election type sign that says "Vote for T-Rex" that I ripped from the ground as I left the show. I'd post a picture but this site sucks with uploading from my iPhone camera

My original post on that was a wink. It was clearly sarcasm.

Vote for T Rex sounds less vicious than some of the Presidential candidate's language (no names mentioned ).

I thought this may be of interest:

Universal Creative (though possibly only the Hollywood branch) traveled to Melbourne Australia late last year to visit the Creature Technology Company and view their work for Jurassic World the Exhibition. They were very pleased and excited by what they saw - but I'm not sure what this means now, or in the long run..

Perhaps updated Raptor Encounter suits, new AA's, or simply using them to retheme the dino skins with film accuracy?
