I would make trips to Universal just to see this. Every weekend. For the rest of my life.

I would be totally down for that; I wonder what songs they can actually use since Star Wars and Indy are out?

That's half the reason I really don't like this ride. This soundtrack is a masterpiece - probably the best movie score I've ever seen. And I firmly don't think it's used to its fullest effect in the ride

Yeah, apart from the fantastic gates opening it could be much better utilized throughout.

To put it into perspective, the use of music in The Indiana Jones Adventure always pumps my wife and I up when we go on that ride. So much so, that when we are driving through areas with tight turns and high speed limits we start humming the tune in reference.

Having a better utilized score for the ride would make it that much more memorable.

Speaking of the gates those haven't been working right either with the timing. Isn't the Ultrasaur supposed to be raising its head as the gates open?

Can't tell if you're being sarcastic or not....

But in the event you aren't:
Considering Jurassic Park and Harry Potter are right there- it's a no brainer. And ET next door.
Outside of those- Fiddler on the Roof, Jaws, Close Encounters of Third Kind, Superman, Empire of the Sun, Home Alone, Schindler's List, Saving Private Ryan and the Patriot- just to name a few.

No sarcasm intended.

The reason for my musing is that I would assume Universal would not want to pay any more for rights than they have to so it becomes a question of what they have the rights to already and what would be recognizable enough to the general public or stirring enough for a nighttime spectacular?

Last I recall, yes. Are you saying the gates open early or late? Or, worse yet, are you saying there is an issue with the Ultrasaur movement?

Both. Sometimes the gates don't even fully close behind the boat in front of you before they open again and the Ultrasaur also never seems on time on top of the fact it's one of the most unconvincing AAs in Orlando.

Can adults finally ride the Pteranodon Flyers? I always wanted to ride it but I don't have a child to take on with me.

Music rights and film rights are different. Although its unlikely they'd want to highlight competitor attractions. That being said, when doing to Disney Studios you will hear the music from "ET", "Back To The Future" etc. playing on the background music.

Speaking of Jurassic World, Comcast is testing the Jurassic World exhibit that was in Melbourne at the Franklin Institute literally 5 blocks away from the Comcast HQ in Phildephia for 5 months. Coincidence, I think not. I mean head honcho Brian Roberts if he really likes the exhibit has to have some say about the parks right?

My wish list:

1. All new AAs for River Adventure
2. AAs along the paths like the Spinosaurus that was put in Japan
3. New Raptor suits
4. Comcast purchases CTC and all future AAs are created "in house" by them and eventually all older ones that aren't very convincing are replaced as well (looking at you CitH)

My biggest pet peeve is the hadrosaur that knocks you off course. It has a new skin that doesn't go down far enough to cover the old.

I totally agree with #2. It would be awesome to have more Paddocks. I would love for them to do something more along the waterfront near the entrance to the visitors center as well

If Comcast and CTC's relationship grows, I think we should expect more of what is happening in between Comcast and Christie in terms that Christie will be suppliers of future projectors for anything within Universal Parks and Resorts.

So many projects to do. It would be great to see one major ride and one big refurb a year.

They wrapped a new skin around the old skin? I don't get it.
