Mark Lazarus Chairman of NBC Broadcasting and Sports discussed NBC involvement with Esports and their success rate.

Noting the real winners of Esports competitions are the IP owners, he stated Universal Pictures is now looking into translating and creating IPs for Esports as its a good sound investment that expands from just gaming but broadcasting, merchandising, and more.

Universal/Comcast moving into E-Sports..can go either way, to be blunt.

That said, it does not in any way, justify a "Video Game park" to exist. Nintendo, will be more than enough.

Video Games are still rather early in their mainstream adoption and are looking like they are going to get way bigger. Why would you argue against a company snatching up ip's for a video game park? Whoever waits too much longer to do that will lose out, big time.

Honestly to argue, Nintendo holds a very..big note, in the gaming industry.

It will be always remembered for bringing Consoles back, but more importantly; a lot of it's IP's have the ability that can be used, regardless of player ship or modern age. Not to mention, it shouldn't be likely that Nintendo will become a dated company, by any stretch of the means.

That said..perhaps we can talk about it somewhere else, as opposed to dragging an E-Sports thread down (although, I wouldn't be opposed to that either).
