^ Yes, they do look like pine needles it's actually toasted pasta.

You know, I thought they were pine needles. I wanted to bite into one but didn't want to be that guy to discover it was really pine

Are those pine needles on the burger? That is certainly a spruce sprig on the top. And that also looks liked mashed taters under the burger. Looks like a cool place to eat.

This hunk of a sandwich was really two burger patties with mashed potatoes in between them. The thing was a monster and was only able to force half of it down DH got a bunch of photos of all the food also and was going to write up a review as well.
