Many of us believe the HRRR replacement is the 2027 addition for UOR. The final F&F movie is coming out in 2027 now. Maybe we will get our first announcement for the coaster (if F&F themed) is when the teaser for Fast 11 comes out.

But then again Hollywood Drift was announced in May/June 2024, which is much earlier than when Universal typically announces new attractions.

They actually had a superhero show there in the early 90s. I’m calling it the Daily Planet, but it may have been the Daily Bugle only because I cannot remember which comic book universe featured.

But this show was well before Islands.

EDIT - Found it! It was a Marvel show and the building is the Daily Bugle.

Oh okay, I know it was used for access to sound stages for HHN, but that's just not going to be a thing anymore cos the station building will literally be where they used to queue

Yeah… it’ll be really interesting to see how this thing queues. Either facade (Daily Bugle or GB Firehouse) works, and the old Twister extended queue remains available (to a degree), which runs behind both facades. They also need to leave SS33 accessible for special events.

Is the second building on the soundstage parking lot a maintenance building or a show building?

I have done a full rundown here with a rendering, I think it will just take an entrance off the corner of the building, and what was once HHHN queue might be a small external queue

What on earth? So the station building is far enough behind the facades so the turn isn’t actually visible in the park?

That’s a… choice. It’s like they’re hiding the entrance. If that’s the case, I feel like they have to rework the Daily Bugle building as the ride entrance to actually attract people.

(Or… you know… use the pre-existing Ghostbusters firehouse and just reattach the old Ghostbusters sign that used to attract people to the show…)

If it's BTTF, then I'll be happy. 88mph launch coaster. Indoors. Actors reprising their roles. Sequel to the original ride. It'd be awesome.

I always pictured early/spring '27.

That’s the timeline I’ve heard, although I still can’t get confirmation on WHAT is replacing F&F, just something is planned.

2028 would be great news if that had real substance. A good well-done replacement would help USF substantially. Utilizing the
fairly new building could shorten the time frame for sure. Unfortunately, there's been rumors of Supercharged replacement since
shortly after that unpopular, very low ridership attraction opened. Even its creators said it was a major mistake....Fingers crossed a
replacement happens real soon. But, I'll believe it when I see it.
