Do we think the main tower and Inverted Loop will go down before HHN season ends? I had always thought they'd trim off the far-end portions first and then properly dismantle the larger mid-section after guests are totally blocked off from the area, but with how fast they are taking this thing down, I really don't know!

Yes.... the sightline should be so much better for my November vacation. I always understood the kinetic energy that RRR brought to USF,
but I disliked what it did to the NYC skyline. Hoping the replacement doesn't have such a negative NYC sightline effect.

What on earth? So the station building is far enough behind the facades so the turn isn’t actually visible in the park?

That’s a… choice. It’s like they’re hiding the entrance. If that’s the case, I feel like they have to rework the Daily Bugle building as the ride entrance to actually attract people.

(Or… you know… use the pre-existing Ghostbusters firehouse and just reattach the old Ghostbusters sign that used to attract people to the show…)

If the load is similar to what @tommyhawkins is thinking, it'd essentially be an inverse of Hollywood's, to what is the switchtracks for the vehicles to unload.

Which, honestly makes me wonder if people might have the orientation of the layout wrong, if it starts with vehicles going closer to Mummy, and then launching as they are in the direction of the soundstages.

Is it just vibes or do you have a reasoning for that? :nervous: Genuinely asking!

Deconstruction is also done after the event closes and on the early morning hours when the park opens but guests aren’t in that area anyway. Some nights don’t have HHN going on so it’s easier to do work then, too.

Will be interesting to see as you go directly underneath it and weave your way through the non-inverting loop supports for Artista queue.

They'd have to station a crane somewhere in the music plaza stage area in order to support the removal.

I think they just really wanted to demo the edges of the ride since that contains the bulk of where future development is (especially on the NY side where the station is and they'd like a head start on the foundations).

My guess is they’re gonna keep up the current pace until the whole thing is gone, so end of the month seems like a pretty good guess. Once the track by the Fallon bathrooms is removed, they can simply re-route the El Artista queue into that soundstage the way they’ve done queues there in the past. That would free up the area in front of the Rockit tower for the crane to be staged.

Plus, this demo crew might be moving over to LC as soon as they’re done with Rockit :nervous:

What I'm thinking now is that they open up the pathway between Fallon's show building (in red) and the area where Rockit was (where Ghostbusters queue was last year). But you need to put a crane somewhere in the plaza area... so not sure. Green is current pathway.
