The screen in the elevator lift is really the one thing can bring this ride to another level

I remember that effect! Would be great if they brought it back but I’m not optimistic.

I forgot about the flooding effect, but that’s definitely the only space they can add something unless it’s just audio and paint. I wish they would spend money on a rock cave to dive in after the big coaster drop but that’s not worth it money wise for them

Let's build a coaster themed to these animals ......then get rid of the animals a few years after the coaster opens rather than build a new habitat closer to said coaster  *sigh*

Is it wrong that I keep false hope for the hybrid habitat queues/exhibits SeaWorld Orlando gave us with Manta & the former Antarctica/Wild Arctic?

It was such a great balance. Same for JTA San Diego having the dolphins (& fish?) as part of the ride experience. Although if I remember correctly, they did away with that aspect several years ago?

it wouldn’t be possible to connect a penguin exhibit to the emperor line or exit because of the space needed but they could build one were the 2 scare mazes are. But In general San Diego has been focusing on refurbishing its exhibits and it would probably cost around $60 million to build a new state of the penguin exhibit in San Diego which is more than the seaworld would be willing to pay for something. Considering they could go an outdoor Magellan exhibit for only around 10million max.

Also isn't it bad show to not tell people an attraction is closing?

I mean also it would draw people I think but to just take it away without a world....just really sucks and summer is right around the corner

They want to avoid bringing attention to animal transfers due to PETA. Also, all of the other non-emperor or macaroni penguins are still in the exhibit and will likely be moved to other parks after the end of the summer season The emperor penguins were moved now to coincide with breeding season.

Well, the shark encounter is likely to be closed the next year or 2 for an extensive renovation, and there will still be Humboldt and Magellanic penguins in the park
