It all depends on how well they theme it. And sky swings and max airs are not carnival rides.

Trying to get people excited about their next project to get all eyes off of how big of a fail Antarctica is? That would be my guess. Sounds like some announcement tomorrow, but wondering if this is a show vs. a ride. Since the rumors have been that there will be a show change to one of the shows not involving Shamu. The question is do they have enough decisions made on their next thrill ride to announce that yet.

The other SeaWorld parks are tweeting about this as well. Seems more likely that it's a marketing campaign.

That was my first thought, but the fact that it is multi-park leads me to believe it is a silly promotion

I didn't realize it was all the Sea World parks. I agree, it will be some kind of promotion and/or conservation program they are starting.

Carnival rides are rides you can pack up and put on a trailer in a few hours. It's incorrect to call them carnival rides since they're gigantic steel structures that take months to assemble. From the size to the appearance, nothing like a carnival ride.

I find it interesting that this "sea of surprises" is going to "surface" tomorrow... the same day BGT is supposed to announce their rumored drop tower. Could June 11 bring a double-announcement (drop tower and SWO's next project), like when Cheetah Hunt and Grand Reef were announced?

Really dude??? Can I have my opinion and you have yours? Guess what...the carnivals and fairs here have THOSE SAME TYPE OF RIDES! So what they are "bigger and faster in actual amusement parks! MY OPINION they are carnival style rides. Can I atleast have MY own opinion...I'm not trying to change your mind about them right? So why try to "convince" me otherwise?

I will restate my OPINION...I don't sea world is they type of park for carnival STYLE THRILL RIDES... Now  that...

Sounds like it's going to be a general announcement of all the upcoming stuff for SeaWorld and Busch parks. Looking forward to seeing what they have planned. Hopefully there will be some good stuff coming to SWO to make up for Antarctica's "not-so-greatness."

I'm sorry it's just odd thing to say. There two different things and that's not my opinion it's a fact. And chill out.

Tomorrow's a big day! Bush and Sea World!

...your opinion.

Anyway...I wonder how a splash battle ride would do at sea world? Sure its not that thrilling but it would bring something new to the Orlando market. Hey, they can even theme it in conjunction to the pirates animal show!

While I am curious about tomorrow's news, in particular details and maybe some artwork on Busch's drop tower ride, I doubt anything major being announced for SWO. I suspect maybe something for Aquatica.

Wondering if today's announcement will be a new Shamu show across all three parks. One Ocean has been Around for 2 years now and it never gave me the impression it had the same production effort as Believe. That said, you'd think if they were going to replace One Ocean, they'd have wanted to roll that out across the parks before the summer season.
