Hey, so I've been going to Uni pretty consistently every other year for the last decade but have found myself in Orlando more and more often over the past year, and sprung for an AP. However I've taken a new job as a Travel Agent and need to take a short "familiarization" trip to UOR to get certified as a Universal Travel Specialist. I'm headed down in about two weeks and wanted to pick the OU community's brain about what I should be looking at specifically. Obviously the big draw these days is the Wizarding World (and Part II opening this summer), but what are some other hidden gems I should be looking for, and (this is the dangerous part) how can I potentially steer customers towards Uni over Disney?

I've definitely done some research on my own part and have my own experiences to draw from, but I definitely want to get the opinions of the members here as well, since I don't think my short two night trip on my days off will necessarily be enough.

I think I would try and get familiar with UOR's new resort (still being built). Anyway, from the announcements I have seen, it looks like the daily rate lowers the more days you stay. If a family is thinking of seeing both Disney and UNI, I think they would be better off staying at UNI, they should easily save enough to be able to rent a car, plus they would be close to Sea World if they are thinking of visiting there.

They won't get express pass, but they will get early entry. Anyway, the way the new hotel appears to be priced, I think UNI wants their hotel stays, even for nights/days they are not visiting UNI.

I would also say check at the dinning at the different resorts on property and City Walk, consider the movie theatre and the mini golf... Blue man group...just saying there is a lot around besides the parks themselves....but the parks are the main reason I visit
