I'd prefer a ferris wheel over any spinner/flat ride any day.

The only reason I would want this would be for the fantastic construction pics Bob and the boys would get from the top.

Oh yeah, I LOVE heights, so the taller the better!!!! But let's not get our hopes up as it sounds more like a wishfull rumor than fact, & of course most times when you want something, you dont get it, so Im not expecting it, but it sure would be a heck of a pleasant surprise!!!

Would have been more effective in my mind but if they did do that then it would cover the awesome Simpsons entrance. So its probably better if they dont anyways.

I wouldn't write him off completely...except when it comes to Universal. Then again, we'll see if he is more connected at USH when Potter happens.

Jim Hill is the best storyteller in the community though.

I like when Jim makes up "listener/reader questions" and then answers them himself.

Yes I listened to that podcast as well. His rationale made perfect sense that the height of a Ferris wheel would be far more appealing and attract people to Simpsons (away from Diagon Alley) in the future. He mentioned that it has gone back and forth but Uni was discussing with ride manufacturers again.

I can't lie, a Krusty Wheel that blatantly rips off Mickey's fun wheel would be a great joke - but I think he's just saying what he wants to happen as opposed to what will come to be.

If they used one with the rolling cars I would be all for it. And would be a great dig at Disney. I I don't see it happening. But it would be a real attraction and not just kiddie ride.

Except for the coaster wheel to work it has to be MASSIVE. Simply not enough room.

It would, but it would also be so yesterday's Universal. Back when Universal was the little kid running up behind the bully, tapping him on the shoulder, and running away giggling. Now it's 10 years later when the bully works for the nerd.
