I wonder if it’s a mix of not wanting to deal with any props getting saturated and messed up being wet all the time and encouraging people to continue moving so people don’t hold up the line.

I finally did the wet path this weekend and it wasn’t bad at all! It’s like walking in the rain and walking under an awning that’s dumping water from the roof. It was kind of refreshing coming out the other side.

Yeah no I'm not surprised they didn't have any props like they had in the dry path. Last thing you want is mold.

If they ever want to try this gimmick again, maybe have some scenes/props behind plexiglass to keep them dry.

Yeah I definitely get not wanting to put props or anything in there because they could get ruined by the water, but I expected Art dancing around or something. I did see Sienna holding his head but assumed that was in the other path too.

So it sounds like the big takeaway is the big finale of the wet path is just mildl annoyance

So…does she appear on both paths?

Does the dry path have a final scare or actor?

There's a scare actor, but they were sorta facing the guests leaving the wet path? My girlfriend didn't even notice him until doing the wet side.

Art pops out at the end of the dry path. The way it’s set up is the last part of the path kind of points at an angle towards the exit so you face toward the soundstage door.

The wet path is on the right side and Sienna pops up on the right side at the end of the wet path. To see her from the dry path exit you’d have to look back and to the right. Unless you already know she’s there you'd probably never think to look that way from the dry path.

I think they're meant to scare the people leaving the dry path. Their hiding spot is between the two though so you’ll end up seeing him when leaving the wet path sometimes.

Oh interesting. I've done the wet path three times and that scareactor was always facing the wet pathers. I didn't think about it until my girlfriend saw him and she said "I guess if you went dry you gotta turn around if you want to see that final scare actor"

Just realized I never shared my thoughts.

I'm not a fan of Terrifier at all (albeit the 3rd one is okay), and this was very squarely at the bottom of my hype list ever since being first rumored.

...From the very first run to now the end of week 3, it has sat comfortably in my top 3 of the year. Such a good and fun house.

My first DNF since 2014. Just didn’t work out for me and the lines.

Had an unbelievable run through this tonight around 8 PM that I think may nudge it into my #1 position this year overall. Everything I loved opening weekend is still great - well rounded mix of gore, SIF, pulsing light-up scenery, music, length, it all just works as a weird combo of gross-out house and party house.

But what really is elevating it as we get a little further into the season is that the Art actors seem to have such latitude compared to the usual mechanical style at HHN. I happened to be in the pocket for all the scares, but I was also having great little interactions with the Arts all throughout the house - he was waving, staring me down, offering me brains, miming affront when the people behind me complained about the smell in the bathroom. It's so fun and inviting when the actors get to do more than lunging and hitting a dialogue trigger! I hope Universal works on ways to incorporate this level of performer freedom into other houses in the future because it really makes for something special with this house.

Oh and the wet path looked wetter than ever this evening. There was a huge spout of water coming down on the left side of the path a few feet in which you could choose to walk through or not. I opted to avoid it. It looked like it had the potential to genuinely soak someone which I had not seen on previous runs.
