The way it seems is they just don’t want to call them Icons anymore because then Marketing has to jump through those hoops.

Needless complicated explanation. Just say the idea of an Icon has evolved. Oddfellow and Sinister/Surreal are clear evolutions of the concept.

It sounds like they're just saying they aren't going to be calling new characters "icons" out of the gate, even if they are intended to be iconic. They have to earn their icon status.

You actually need to get a certain number of people on your downline to feed your upline and clear through a certain amount of merch before you can call yourself an Icon.

I think Pumpkin Lords cult caused Twisted Traditions unleashing the curse that fused bone and pumpkins to people. It just makes sense, also I walked through that scarezone In 2018 loved the glowing pumpkins.

After some follow-up, it does seem that the "Iconic Characters" line was misinterpreted big time. I would honestly not worry about it too much.
