I received a UOR survey link in my email today. It was LONG. The reason I am telling this here is because it almost treated the WW as a separate entity. Even when it was asking slightly broader questions, it was IOA as the hard sell idea points and never applied to US. Examples: Opening IOA earlier for AP and/or closing later for AP. They kept showing new columns for PREMIER, PREFERRED, AND SEASONAL with different perks and pricing. Even premier and preferred sometimes contained "seasonal" items on some pages of options.

On other questions asking for comments, I gave them both barrels on issues of park upkeep, bottlenecks in the WW (das neep), and issues that I believe strongly in regarding the FJ queue. I stuck to those three points as I worried that ad nauseam text would be ignored.

Interesting the discussions on here recently that no one gets a survey and then I get a survey in my email today.

I received that survey also. I tried, but I couldn't hang in there to the end. Not only was it long, but the repetition of the questions got the best of my attention span

The_Bled tweeted us from Islands of Adventure today and told us that there was a 30 minute wait to get into the island today. Several other people have confirmed this saddening fact. The vacation crowds are definitely here again. :mean:

Indeed, the wait for WWOHP today at 11 spread all the way to Thunder Falls Terrace:

Wow, am I glad I went last weekend. I can't imagine what the park will be like this coming weekend, will probably be a total mad house, it hasn't been that crowded since early summer!!

It wasn't too bad of a wait. In fact, it was pretty quick. There is a new problem on FJ that I had to report to one of the employees. SPOILER: After you pass the Dementors, a huge black box appeared on the screen. You could peek at 1/4 of the dome but that was frozen. I told an attendant and they offered me a re-ride and it was indeed fixed. It sees like a one-in-a-millinon chance, but running those all day cannot be good.

I'm not concerned by Potter operations. For new tech this thing has reacted very well to large crowds.

Probably the smoothest ride opening for a new technology ever I would say.

The Rockit isnt as bad anymore. Lately it's been running with a lot less breakdowns, running in harsh rain and wind, and has mostly very smooth cars.

That may be and it is great to hear, but Rockit will never get rid of its bad reputation.

I was there twice last week and both days it went down. One of those days was extended and the queue was emptied out. Its just as bad as it was a year ago and its sad.

Yes, the queueing up to get into WWOHP has started. I also heard that Express has been overselling the past few days, which is why Spiderman and the other attractions have been a huge wait because the Express lines have been out the door. This is crazy because this is just Thanksgiving weekend. Also, IOA had to extend its park hours tonight, from 8 to 9. Think about the Christmas to New Years week!! That will be a sight to behold.

I don't envy any guest there for the big Christmas Push. It was even amazing to me on my sunday trip to see Burger Diggs and Thunder Falls Terrace of all places totally packed with lines. It was not even in the big lunch hour but after/before dinner.

This Thanksgiving I am grateful in the theme park material sense that I live close enough to enjoy on slower times of the year.

Time to get that trike open and some walk around roaming entertainment back into the parks!

There's something else I forgot to mention. Even when you got your ticket to enter Potter, they were still only letting a few people in at a time. There was also the swarm of people that didn't even have a ticket trying to get in. They pulled out their Park Entry tickets when asked to show the ones they received at the Discovery Center. When I entered they weren't letting anyone else in for that time(Just to give you an idea of how packed it was.)

When did this separate ticket for Potter start?

I have no idea. I just saw that they were passing them out, and had huge UPS envelopes full of them marked: "Discover Universal". The island is still included in ticket price though.

My goodness... as ever, I will only attend in the first week of Dec and then not until the second week of January. For the first time ever, early Dec might even be iffy.
