From Inside The Magic's twitter, they shared a link to a blog with someone who had a bad experience at the Wizarding World.

IMO the guy's problem seems to be that he did no research. He didn't know that Christmas break is the busiest time of year, he didn't know about Express, he didn't know the waits Potter is getting, etc.
Also he seems Disney-biased. Why is he whining about gift shops trying to rip people off and overpriced food at Universal, when it's the exact same at Disney?
Plus he likes Disney because the lines weren't as long? Can Universal help it that people are more interested in HP than Animal Kingdom or Fantasyland?
And they didn't even give the land a chance! The line for the ride they came to do was too long, so they just turn around and leave? He's whining about money but then he just wasted it! You've already been there that long, why not actually do what you came for? And how the heck can he review WWoHP when he did not experience it.
Ugh.

Well, yes... your posts won't be viewed by everyone, but they WILL be viewed by the blogger. I say slam their blog and tell them how stupid they are and correct them on their spelling and grammar while you are at it.

The battle between Universal Studios and Disney World is tiring. :P

As for the review... I pretty much agree with everyone else's posts. You can't expect all the other people who have saved up all this money to experience WWoHp to just drop down so that you can have a good time. It's your fault that you didn't know what was coming, and it was your fault for wasting your money.

You know, it doesn't take a rocket scientist to know that one of the biggest new attractions, on the busiest time of the year for any place will be crowded. I mean I knew that when I was 7. It's common sense. It's dumb that he didn't even go on the ride. Like what the heck man, all the little side shops you went to wasted all your time! You could have spent that time on the ride itself instead of complaining about it!

Maybe use magic to shrink the line?
As for the article, I barely got past the title. "Harry Potter and the Dastardly Theme Park Ripoff"? Clever:rolleyes:. And the rest of it?:bang:

If I would have seen it, I probably would have called you out on it, letting the grouper know that I saw you duck under and into the regular line. The person most likely would have just sent you to the exit. But really, what makes you better than everyone else? You think you're special because you're better than the rules? Seriously, what's your answer? Why ARE you better than everyone else? You do know that you have karma coming at you, right? Did you maybe, fall down all of a sudden, or get in a small fender bender? Maybe get in a fight with a friend? Not yet? Oh, then it'll come.

I don't think I'm better than anyone. And I don't think I'm better than the rules. But I do believe that what "the rules" are considered to be is up for debate.

Anyone can enter Filch's Emporium gift shop. And anyone can walk through the locker room to the queue. Until Universal employees start blocking the entrance to the gift shop, I wasn't breaking any rules. As for the line swapping, I see that more along the lines of "bending" the rules, but only for one reason: there were no people to cut in front of (that were visible). Yes, I'm pretty sure that if I had waited long enough, people would have poured through, but I saw an opportunity and seized it. I would never visibly cut in front of someone, just like I would never insult someone to their face. I am a quiet, sneaky bastard, aka a ninja.

I believe in karma just as much as I believe in the invisible pink unicorn.

Um sir? Itis a very obvious not to cut the line. That's just a universal rule not to cut lines.there doesn't need to be a person at the exit, of the ride. If there is a obvious giant line of people outside of the actual entrance, wouldn't you think that's where you should go? And by the way, your not a ninja for being sneaky, ninjas are noble and sneaky, not bastards. And you didn't bend the rules, you broke them.

Mercenaries being noble? Espionage, sabotage, infiltration, and assassination is noble?

Thank you. But I don't approving of cutting. And I wasn't cutting (except for the part where I was already 5 minutes away from the station, which didn't really save me any time).

But still...

... I think Universal is more concerned about getting sued, lol.

Yeah universal definitely didn't take any chances with getting sued on this ride XD it kind of intimidated me before I got on the ride haha and ninjas fought for their country. Everything they did was for the emperor and for the good of their nation. They were soldiers.

I am not sure on the details of where you cut but speaking of it as a situation if it was near the end when they group people vs single rider lane of people it is not so much about you not saving yourself much time, but the fact that you added more time to the people who were already waiting near an hour for the attraction. One minute or ten. Wrong is wrong.

Actually I think you are thinking of Samurais. Ninjas were kind of like the Samurais gone bad that assassinated people for money. They turned their back on Samurai codes of honor and justice, so not very noble.

But to stay on (sort of) topic, it's not alright to cut in line. Especially if people have been waiting for a long time. If I see anyone doing that I try to get a TM involved. I believe parks should be very strict with line-cutters, especially if the park is crowded. Give them a warning, make them go to the back of the line, if they do it again kick them out of the park. The more people cut in line, the longer the wait is for everybody else. They definitely need to get someone watching that section of the line.

Wow people... They cut the line so they could ride together. Did anyone notice? No. It was a "we're here, it's okay lets just go" kind of situation. Why are you guys making such a big deal over it? To be honest, I would have probably done the same thing if I were in the same situation. But it's nothing to get worked up over. Nobody cared, nobody noticed. The people they cut obviously didn't notice either.
