The Wizarding World of Harry Potter - Hogsmeade (Orlando): Part 2

I expected it to be expensive...it's a theme park AND Harry Potter. Deadly combination for a wallet. But a lot of the stuff looks great. So far my list looks like this:
Butterbeer w/ mug
Pygmy Puff
Gryffindor Jersey
Sugar Quill
Bottle of Pumpkin Juice
Quibbler

And I'm sure I'll find a ton more once I go.

The Quibbler, turns out, is just a poster and it brings card board cut out Spectrespecs. They do also sell the plastic Spectrespecs that are like colored sunglasses.

Actually, if anyone cares about everything WWoHP, it's Alan Gilmore. Alan cares more than any #1 fan out there. For you to say that he doesn't care is completely misrepresenting him and I kindly ask you take back that statement out of respect for him. If Alan says he doesn't know, he doesn't know.

I agree he REALLY cares. It was amazing following him and Mark Woodbury throughout the FJ queue as they were giving a private tour and explaining every single item and its history. I believe what he told me about GO. Now, even though I'll give him the benefit of the doubt, it's hard to believe that two weeks from the grand events he would not know when they are. He probably was not allowed to tell, but I think he must know. That's just what I think, though... and I'm not "in the know."

Does anyone know if you have to have identification to use the AAA discount? My grandma, who has it, is taking my sister and me to Orlando, but she will not be inside of the parks with us. Can she just give us her card?

Depends on the cashier. Some check it, some don't. I'm sure they're supposed to check it though. You can always give it a try and if you get caught say it's your grandmother's and she's in the restroom or somewhere else... lol get creative.

I think you'll be in the front or pretty near the front if you get to the gates of IoA at 7am.

I'm sure if someone bought a package including June 18th, they'll get in one hour early on the 18th.

so i had to pee really bad at 7:30 this morning... i couldn't get back to sleep so i came on here and saw the news of a source saying it was likely gp would be let in.. i had work at 11:30 so i just went to ioa and went straight to wwohp and was allowed in.. made fj my first stop. i was surprised at how detailed everything was. i rode it twice when i first got in.. walked around and got a butterbeer which i really enjoyed. took a look at everything else and then went back to fj for a 3rd time. this time it stopped for about 30 secs and thought to myself "great, i have work in 30 and this is happening" and it started right back up haha. i absolutely loved the ride though. probably one of my favorites now... i'll probably ne back tomorrow morning

Today they have started to let GP in as well and although the rides close at 10, the rest stays open till noon

Quick question for those who have ridden the FJ. What happens if your wearing flip flops? Do you sit on them, wear them, store them, curious because I plan on wearing flip flops and don't want it to be a hastle. Thanks
