I usually don't post anything but i just HAVE to say that WWoHP is frickin' awesome! i'm sooo glad that i waited even after the TM "brigade" told us it wouldn't be open today. Waited literally 30 seconds to get into Ollivander's and rode FJ twice (on my scale from 1 to 10 i would give it a 9 b/c it was just so cool to be up close to creatures i've always read about. not quite a 10 because i hyped it up too much) Still haven't seen Dragon Challenge queue though : (

MADE IT IN TODAY!
Hello all! My friend Karen and I were two in maybe 100 people allowed entry to The Wizarding World today at 10am after hotel guests. It was a complete surprise as it was closed at 9am when we arrived. They TMs, of course, told us imediately that the area would NOT open at all today, that we would waste our time standing waiting. Luckily we waited, and it paid off. We walked hurridly to Forbiden Journey (as we were not allowed to run, withought threat of being kicked out) and to our amazment got right in and enjoyed the queue with almost no wait and then road the attraction! It was outstanding! I posted some pictures of our trip today on my Facebook, I'll post the link but I'm not sure if youre able to view them unless you're my friend, but we'll find out. Don't be embarasse to friend request, I'm a local artist in Saint Petersburg and I do a Haunted Attraction in October so you can also friend me to keep posted on that stuff. You may not like it, but that is the way that it is in the movies... and therefore it must have been described as such in the books. The Hogshead is a run down olde eatery and pub.

I tried to contain my excited "YES! a new major theme park ride!" feelings and give it an honest review.

I can say that the acid pops were packaged like any large lollipop would be, in a plastic wrapper, and they were ball shaped as opposed to christmas tree like.

About that construction dust cloth that went up on the roof of FJ, it was there yesterday as well. It extends from the greenhouses to somewhere past the clocktower side because you can see it while standing in front of Hogwarts. No idea what it's for, but they are still building what seems to be a permanent JP entrance gate for the "temporary" bridge. Is that in any comptroller docs Teebin?

Just got back from IOA got to go into potter and it was awsome. I rode Forbbiden Journey three times Hippogriff one time and Dragon Challange one time the whole Harry Potter land is awsome and so are the rides, queues and shops overall I will rate Potter a 10.

The brown tarp or the temp bridge arch? There is a Notice of Commencement for bridgework that was filed 5/17. As for the tarp... I think that is just to hide workers more than anything. Seeing a person up there would destroy the perspective. What are they doing behind the tarps is anyone's guess. It could be lighting... it could be enhancing the wall they painted brown... it could be something for the grand opening. But no docs suggested anything specific. If you remember that months ago, many of the comptroller docs I spoke of were work "extensions" so that could mean anything... and most of those extensions went into September and even December.

Yeah! They're getting me pumped. Hope to make it to Uni this weekend or next, but I'm not sure if I can. At any rate, these reports are keeping me satisfied.
