Hi, new to the site, but have been lurking for awhile. My mom and I headed out this morning to see if the GP was getting in and left around 9:35am. We were disappointed, but more so when we found out some did get in 20 minutes later, sigh. I have enjoyed all the chats here and look forward to hopefully meeting some of you in the weeks to come. My son and I will be there for sure opening day! We compete for who is the bigger fan, of course Nana gives us a run for our money! LOl What is the thoughts about tomorrow chances? May drag hubby out. Glad to be here!

i am dying to try both!

Peppermint toads are good. It's chocolate with a hint of peppermint flavor, it's not filled with a paste like a peppermint patty. I didn't try a blood pop yet. Might buy one next time I go!

Thank you so much Rhino and Latveria. I called and upgraded my tickets.
So now we will be going multiple days to the WWoHP!!! Everyone has it as their priority and so we will all be happy campers. Now I just need to get some prices on resturants in and around Uni since our new hotel is between it and SeaWorld.

Very nice!! Now you can get hotel rooms on-site at the annual passholder rate (which I think is the same as the Florida resident rate) and they got some pretty great deals compared to regular prices! The on-site hotels are really nice plus your key card is your unlimited express pass! The room almost pays for itself with what the cost would be for the express passes! :-) Plus the 10% discount on food and merch around IoA and Studios! and free parking! I'm very happy for you! :)

Nice! If they put it up on the Universal store at MCO, they HAD to put it there soon enough! So if you exited the WWoHP and forgot to get some merch, here you have another chance at it! :P Get that money Uni!

Hmm… Wonder what’s going on there. That picture also reminds me, the hole in the mountain… I wonder what’s up with that. Maybe fog will come out of there?

Thank you so much for the pictures Danielle! So it seems they have the Chinese Fireball, Hungarian Horntail, Swedish Short-Snout and Norbert(a) which is a Norwegian Ridgeback. Did you happen to catch a price of one?

Isn't the Common Welsh Green there too? In this pic below the Horntails: http://twitpic.com/1tcb0t

ME TOOOOO! :P It will look so much more magical and amazing. It will give it a bit of a creepy feeling which will complete the HP look :)

This is me just putting my two cents in:
If you're in Honeydukes and debating on whether to buy the Chocolate Cauldron or the Chocolate Frog, I would say go with the Frog.
I bought the Cauldron and it's hollow. I've heard the frog is solid. They're both the same price ($10) and with the Frog you get one of the Founder cards. So, I would say frog is better than cauldron.
My opinion though, take it with a grain of salt.

I say frog too! all the way! You get to keep the cool card and the cool packaging too! :P
I really want a cauldron cake, though! next time, next time :)

I believe that the hole in the rockwork is for a pipe that came out of the showbuilding. I think think it is for drainage from the roof.

I would just like everyone to know: The mirror of Erised showed me in the Wizarding World of Harry Potter. I would say my deepest desire just came true. :)

You think the drain would come out of the middle of the mountain? One would think it'd be a bit more conspicuously placed  Maybe I'm just hoping for fog :P

Remeber when it used to be painted rockwork? You could see the pipe sticking out of the showbuilding. I also don't think its in the middle of the showbuilding because the roof is required to have a parapet, I think. So that pipe is actually right under where the roof actually ends. Does that make any sense?

thats not even the first proposal haha! I actually witnessed a proposal sunday. It just shows you how impactful potter really is to people. I would have loved to have been proposed to there. There was this girl on friday who was like "well Im getting married here" we were like one, how much money do you have and two do you even know if thats possible? (thoughts of course).
