After the Deathly Hallows have come out, I hope they get some DH merchandise right away. Voldemort's horcruxes would be very nice. The diadem, the cup, the locket, the journal, the ring, and I guess Nagini a rubber snake? I just want Rowena Ravenclaw's Diadem. And I am VERY hoping, they will come out with some Warm Butterbeer... how it's described in the books. They had to have a carbonated cold drink for Butterbeer being in the hot Florida sun, you don't want to be sipping a warm drink. Does anyone have any information on if might do anything like that?

Ugh..I was afraid of this, although it might not be that bad. The 20th is the day Im going, because its my B-day. Was hoping the crowds wouldnt be too crazy, but if they are having an event (even afterhours) then it may be more crowded then usual.

Well they are definitely "updating" the area post-DH, so there might be merchandise like this. I doubt they'll come out with warm butterbeer, but maybe they'll put out hot chocolate and warm butterbeer when it gets cold (for the 1 day of the year it gets cold down here)...

So are you saying you think they will have warm butterbeer or not? Because you contradicted yourself. I think there's a 40% chance of it happening.

Last year actually there were freezing daytime temperatures for days in a row. Just sayin'.

That's how it's described as in the books. They could probably make it work while keeping it similar to the cold version.

I know very well Manta. I do live in southern FL (even we got freezing temps!)... And I meant that they might do it if it gets cold, but as they aren't pulling any Christmas decorations out, I doubt they will... So I'm open to possibilities, I don't think it will happen, but it might... (Hope that makes sense! lol)

Well seeing as your used to the parks cold version I bet you think it would be disgusting. But when I first read about butterbeer in the books, I imagined it as somewhat of a caramel version of hot chocolate with a hint of vanilla (just got the hot part wrong!)...

Anything with the terms warm and beer in it are gross. And yeah I am used to the parks cold version as thats what I thought we were talking about just in a warm version.

Well it would probably have to be changed for a warm version. In the books, it was warm, almost like a good winter drink (which is why I compared it to hot chocolate)... A warm, caramelley, vanilla type drink. Very good... But that's the book version, snowbirds would probably think it's still hot down here even in winter lol... But you never know, just trust me, if they made warm butterbeer (like in the books), it would be very very good...

The reason everyone says it's warm is because Harry described it as being warm as it went down his throat, very soothing...

I wouldn't mind warm butterbeer... as long as it isn't butterscotch + butter + cream soda like I'm sure all of us die hard harry potter fans have tried. That's just sick... if you've ever watched Half Blood Prince, they drink it inside of The Three Broomsticks. They need to make a butterbeer like that for when it's cold. Drinking a cold, carbonated beverage when your freezing outside isn't the best idea. And it DOES get somewhat cold here for quite some time... for us at least.

I think warm Butterbeer would be great; I could imagine it feeling very cosy sat in 3B with a warm Butterbeer on a chilly evening!

Well in the books it is served both warm and cold, correct? I seem to remember them drinking it out of bottles, which wouldn't be warm.
I wouldn't be surprised it they have a special warm version of it for December, but I would hope that it would be a different recipe. Maybe with chocolate flavor or something.
All this would have to have been previously approved by JK Rowling anyway.
