I was wondering the same. The first two have been down for at least a few months, and when we rode about a week ago, one of the ones at the end was down. That meant out of 5 dementors that were supposed to move, only 2 did (the third one that moves close to the car, and the last one that swings up)

Yeah eventually. There were months at a time the willow was down… the dragon was down a long time too. I think it comes down to logistical reasons!

I can’t believe I forgot to mention this but the dragon was down on my ride as well! It was just stuck in default position with the lights out on it :/

Yeah the ride isn’t as fun when everything isn’t working. Especially the dragon. It’s the first like major animatronic on the ride

To me, the dragon has always been somewhat temperamental in terms of consistently working. But the Dementors have been much more reliable... until recently.

Dragon is back up and running great, but the first two dementors are still down. At this point I’m struggling to remember the last time they moved, maybe September?

I believe it’s always been planned like that? I’m curious to know what the original version was if there was even one.

Went on it last night. I can attest as well. Even the first screen with the flip network is a little torn. This ride is in slightly rough shape. Hopefully a refurb is in store for this after Transformers reopens. Dementors have been down since HHN at least.

Some insider information that’s not really that inside, I think the ride techs recently did their shift bids so maybe they are behind because of that. People moving shifts and rides could cause delays

Even so, having several key figures down for six+ months on one of the park's marquee attractions is really unacceptable. I'm a little surprised WB hasn't stepped in, but they may not know.

I am pretty sure it would be because of parts. That’s usually what it is. This isn’t a new issue with this ride anyway, the womping willow used to be out months at a time as well.
