Theme Parks: Night Photography

Think I'll be going to DAK tonight to freeze my butt off for some pictures. I need more Everest and Tree of Life shots, and when its dark, its better over there.

I love AK in the dark, not so easy these days though.

I love DAK at night, however it was made a bit less magical by my shutter remote breaking on me.

Still, I think I got some great shots and I can't wait to take them into Lightroom.

You need too, it's one of my favorites to shoot at night. There are so many nooks and crannies to shoot its ridiculous. I was there for two hours Tuesday night and I barely shot anything. I'd totally forgot how much there was to shoot. You could spend an hour in Camp Jurassic alone easily.

Even during the day there is so much to photograph at IOA. It could be there all night long

Next trip, and im keeping my fingers crossed, will be for HHN, hopefully. It will most likely be a quick weekend Fri-Sun thing but have to see how we are financially at that point. We have the DVC room booked for Boardwalk for 4 nights in December and had to commit that since we aren't able to get a refund on that. So between that trip and Xmas I need to make sure we are covered so HHN may be up in there air ray:

Agreed, very nice.
Just don't like the how they feel the need to change the colors in the lighting of the façade.

Yeah I noticed since my last night time visit they have changed the lighting color of Poseidon and Mythos.

This is one of my favorites, there is just something I really like about a moon lit Hogsmeade

I love it! Its not the same angle that is always taken and honestly looks like you are in a real town and not in the middle of all the hustle and bustle

About to head back out to Epcot with my shiny new fisheye on my camera! Can't wait to start getting a feel for it and bring back some shots.

Still working through photos from my trip in early February. Turned out to be one of my best nights of photographing Wishes so far with a bunch of keepers.
