I need to try shooting CineSpec from NY with my DSLR. The lasers show is amazing as seen from the Central Park waterfront area.
I got some nice shots, but crappy cell quality for now...

Not drinking as much while in the parks  Seriously though I'm just getting used to my new camera.

I was just thinking, I can't wait to see a long expusure of Kang and Kodos with Duff Gardens in the background! I need to start practicing shooting long exposures actually...

This is still seriously an awesome pic. I love how you capture the lasers at the same time the guy in the screen is staring at you

Thanks Mike! I like the composition, I just thought it looked kinda grainy when I was looking at it on my new S4 (which is what I used to capture it) and also on my laptop. But I was also looking at it today on my work computer and then on my old phone at home, and it looks different, not as grainy and darker. It might be the screens or the brightness settings on the different devices

New shot for today:

When you're dealing with a lot of water spray, it can be difficult to distinguish between noise/grain and fine water spray. Usually the best (and sometimes only) way to tell is when you're doing very fine adjustments in editing software and viewing the image at full size or higher.

It's very possible that may be it. Not only was there a lot of mist from the fountains, but it was drizzling rain too.

Tried my hand at the lagoon shot. The camera I used is not a professional one and the light filter was awful but this was the best (IMO) that I got..

Does your camera have setting that allow you to change the shutter speed? Slow it down as much as you can, put the camera on a ledge like you did and set it to go off on a delayed shutter release and see if that helps. If you can change the ISO put that at the lowest it will go. Play around with the settings until you get shots you like

Yeah, just keep playing with the settings until you find the sweet spots for the different kinds of pictures (night, daytime, with movement, etc.) So far, great, though! Great pics  Love the coaster ones you posted, too!

No, no, no . . . pray for rain now so when you go to shoot tonight you get some killer reflections off the wet pavement. Some of the best night shots ive seen have been right after it rains, those reflections add a whole new level to these shots.

^ Drove all the way out there to sit in the car for an hour and then leave due to the downpour. I'd personally like to thank the weather channel who said a 10% chance of rain at 7:30pm, a 5% chance of rain at 8:45pm, and a 95% chance of rain at 9pm. So instead of sharing something new from Disney I'll stick with Universal again.

Ouch! Gotta love the weather around here.

Great shot! I haven't worked my way around to this end of the park with my camera and tripod, yet.
