I like how the FJ tickets show the guests wearing the 3D goggles...

At the bottom it says "artistic depiction of ride vehicle"...

It should probably say "artistic depiction of ride experience."

Not really connected to the parks but Deadline hollywood claims Secret Life of Pets to be the most successful film of the year, scoring the highest profits.

Afaik, none of the current stages have 21 in the naming. I don't know why they would do that.

The stages numbering system in the past have been all over the place. This makes it a bit more consistent. The two new stages that were built by the Metro sets have been named 22 and 23. My guess is that when the new ones that will be built over by Park Lake and the Red Sea, they'll follow suit.

From @12th Man on Twitter,

It also seems like JP may get a new paint job.

EDIT: One more from Luke, as Cartooniversal is rising.

I'm seeing tweets the USH raised their parking rates by $5, but also moved their cut off times to 6pm instead of 5pm? Can anyone confirm? And if so, does that 6pm cut off include parking for Platinum APs?

I went yesterday and we had to pay $25 because our passes were blacked out, which side note, didn't know was a thing, also side note, i was only there to go the the theater in citywalk, not relevant but I didn't want it to seem like I just showed up on a day where my pass was blacked out like an idiot.

HOLY CHICKEN NUGGETS $25 FOR PARKING!?!?!

USH is now has the most expensive parking in SoCal for theme parks. Disney is still $18, Knott's is $20, SFMM is close with $23, but $25 for USH…..geez. What makes them think their parking is worth more than Disney? Thank God for the Gold Pass man. That is STEEP.

Universal does not address their parking rates compared to other theme parks due to the large distance apart they are from other local theme parks...unlike Orlando.

Universal Hollywood bases their rates upon the San Fernando Valley and Hollywood rates.

...and Disney is $20 and will soon follow this to $25

And yes, I don't like it either. How can USH try to push the boundaries over Orlando and DLR!?!?!

This is how USH pays for the Starway expansion & other construction within the park & on the backlot... :look:

Seriously though, $25 for parking is ridiculous, especially for a park you can easily do everything in half the hours the park is actually open. We all saw the ridiculous price hikes for Potter... just wait until Nintendoland. :ack:

Again, does this mean the free Platinium parking cut off is now 6pm? That seems unclear to me.
